I come from the high end world of Warcraft community. this type of "services" are prevalent in wow aswell boosting people through content for ingame gold. The same kind of servers talking about "real world trading" being banned and not allowed. Ive seen how much gold goes through that community these kind of services are run by people who are def selling the gold in some way or another. either in 1 large sale scorch and burn style or little bits here and there
i was buying services before they were banned, one server was nuked 4 times after the ban. ofc they always came back no issues but still, they did nuke some service servers.
In rs3 people still buy barbarian assault achievements for in game gp, no RWT, no account sharing (like the buyer leeches and does nothing/something simple, and the seller does all the minigame work (with others or alts), which is interesting because it's against RS rules to play a minigame with alts lol)
I find it a bit sad that in a game YOU HAVE TO PAY SOMEONE TO DO A JOB THAT YOU CAN EASILY ON IT, as if it were an employee who pays to clean your house (in this case it is justified, but not in a video game)...
This is quite interesting, world of warcraft saw a very similar thing, though it still exists today and isn't against the rules. Certainly, it was insane gold making and most big earners would just sell their gold for cash. Cool video, interesting to watch from the perspective of someone who's seen it in other games.
$7,000 is literally slavery wages when you factor in this guy was working 16 hrs a day for many months to earn that. If I put in that amount of time at my hourly wage at my 9/5, that would equate to multiple tens of thousands in 1 month. This shit is a stupid distraction. If you want real big boy money, focus on developing a lucrative IRL skill/trade/seevice
Most of these players were/are probably already playing the game for 16 hrs/day for free. Back during the height of my depression in my teenage years, I was playing rs for 12 hours a day. If I could have monetized that, I would have. No matter how low the $/hr came out to be.

There are way to accurately solve with a instant ban this but there is also another problem with it, all other forms of potential profit for companies from allowing certain groups from of profit because there is a threshold of having certain amount of hackers to maintain addictive players population and completely being overrun and ruining your normal player base, until a game gets the perfect balance between all forms of contents would I say thats would be the perfect game to utilize such a feature because then anything on any account that is obtain in a legit method would be worth tons, it's like the saying goes in any games the more hackers that play the less people that play, the more gold exploits the less the gold value is worth...

Very interesting. :) Thanks for the good video
Did you get ban ?
Trouble is that if Gagex bring the heat, all the shit rolls down the hill right back into their mouth. They won’t ever change .
True
Most of these players were/are probably already playing the game for 16 hrs/day for free. Back during the height of my depression in my teenage years, I was playing rs for 12 hours a day. If I could have monetized that, I would have. No matter how low the $/hr came out to be.
When you live in a bad country with no opportunity and also have no real life skills this is a great way for them to earn a living . Believe it or not.
Agreed but there will always be employees that prefer this maybe cuz they hate socializing or so or maybe they really have no irl skills
@@no1dolso752 alot of the people in the premium services disc are americans and europeans who are in college and do have opportunity. Rather than recognizing what they have at their fingertips, theyre procrastinating and pissing it away for the pennies. $7000 aint shit if you live in a first world country with grown man bills
This was a good video!
Account sharing has always been against the rules, I thought? So why would they have needed to addend the rule about only using game items to pay for items/services within the game?
you can literally buy 100 million GP for 40$, so how are people getting 7000$ makes no sense
bro you can literally train 5 different accounts with one person. and each account is giving you 800+ mill for a weeks worth of work.
This income is considered low compared to the bigger fish, but the average income where I live is like $2,500 per month to put that into perspective.
Crumb, skilling/quest services have been here for as long as runescape.. pls take urself alittle bit together hansi.. LOVE the figurines tho! i might actualy buy those :D
very interesting. good job

Not sure if you'll read this, but am I hearing music from Guild Wars? Incredible.
