Fly fishing tactics | Atlantic salmon, in June

Fishing in June month can be challenging but also extremely rewarding when successfully hooking a salmon. High and cold water often combined with few salmon in the river makes you fish hours after hours in the search for one of these mighty silver bars.
This year my friends and I were lucky to fish a river beat in June, that we have dreamed of fishing for several years this time of year. We made a plan to fish relatively slow, deep and with big flies, but it didn't take us long to change our mind and tactics to fish fast and high in the water column with relatively small flies.
