For those wondering: the in-game batting stat does kind of match up with the charge hit power but it's far from perfect, so don't take the batting or pitching stats at face value.

Goomba has the best stamina because he's always constantly marching in the games
Having a match where every stat for ever character is random (anywhere from -32,000 to 32,000) and you don't know how much got changed until the game starts would be really cool to see
Awesome find! Know what I really want to know about this game? If chemistry still works the same way as in Superstar Baseball where every character had a score between 1 and 99 with every other character, and above 90 was good chemistry and below 15 bad (yes I'm obsessed with the chemistry system lmao)
We’ve also found the chemistry in the stat tables, but in sluggers it’s just good or bad chemistry, nothing in between unfortunately :(
Awwww, man...that's kinda disappointing lol. There goes my potentially more theorizing on the character relationships based on their individual scores xD

Entire arcs of the Great Ape War have been written based on Bowser and K.Rool having bad chemistry.
I approve of this.
He also has a 10 feilding stat
Genuinely curious if the Chemistry System still uses a Number System (≥90 = Good, ≤15 = Bad) or if it's just a Simple Good, Bad or Neutral System (Green for Good, Red for Bad, None for Neutral)
Well now I just don't know what to believe. How many lies has the Mario Sluggers Fanclub told us?
Excellent stuff from the Mario Super Sluggers community.
Cool to see that fielding actually corresponds to bobble rate in this game. Makes sense. Does it mean anything? Probably not. If this game is like Superstar, jump catches can't bobble, so the meta will probably just shift to using jump catches to avoid bobbling in the first place. I could maybe see this coming up in middle infield meta (2B/SS) for consistency, but I think big dives and hitboxes, or even anti-Peach utility, will almost always be more valuable there.
I'd argue that the curve stat isn't as important in this game as in Superstar since quick-pitching curveballs to cut into charge swings is just so strong. Pitching in general in this game is just so weak due to how oppressive stamina ends up being, so the revelation that Boo is slightly better for the 2-innings he gets to be on the mound vs. Blooper is almost completely meaningless.
Regardless, always great to watch videos from you guys to remind myself that Sluggers isn't dead. Keep up the great work!

Guys I rlly want the stamina stat to be true bc it would be amazing to know that, but it doesn't add up. Some things line up well, but I've noticed some characters like Daisy have an extremely below average stat there, but she can go deep in games. I think the ultimate debunker though is K. Rool has the FOURTH HIGHEST ranking in this stat out of everyone which makes it impossible to be stamina because he will last 2 innings max! Usually he can't even make it through a single inning.
It’s hard to tell tbh. Maybe theres multiple stamina stats that contribute.
@@MarioSluggersFanclub I'm so invested in this hunt. I'm curious was there a stat for a changeup? (Indicator would be blooper being high up there as the storymode even flexes his changeup)

i think stamina might be something to do with hits and pitching. since getting hit on speeds up tiredness. higher number means less effected by hits?
