alternative to the wax paper is hemming tape! just iron on the patch and then sew, no need to remove tape afterwards 🎉 i use all the time and helps with the fabrics moving around and whatnot
This was a nice little video. Although with it being under four minutes. It definitely should have been a lot longer. Just when you started getting into it, it's over with. How about redoing this or posted a new one that's a little bit more detailed and involved.

A great video for showcasing visible mending 💖I loved it, thank you so much for sharing 🙏 and I didn't know about the wax paper trick !
Video was definitely worth it just for the wax paper tip! Thanks!
Very helpful!! Thanks!!
Great job 👍

Good overview of ideas but not enough technique on how to stitch

Does the sock darning need to be tied off or knotted to start?
S Holiday no you shouldn’t leave any knots because that would be uncomfortable to walk on. Just make sure to weave in the thread/yarn. ☺️
Catch the first stitch by looping back through it...thereby securing it...it’s not technically a knot because there is no lump, same at the end
satisfying
👍👍
I just searched mending as in the enchantment but i got this...
