1. Balogun: doing it in a Top-5 league. has 5g/4a in 1000 minutes for the US. 2. Wright: 4g/1a in 600 minutes for the US. 8g/3a in 1100 minutes of starts in the Championship. 3. Pepi: 11g/3a in 1500 minutes for the US. Brilliant Eredivisie and UCL record.
Two 9s who can't even dribble the ball as well as Pique. Any questions about why the US can't create scoring chances against minor CONCACAF nations? We have one of the best dribblers and shot creators (the 9's only job) on the planet in Pulisic, so we play him off to the side. Sad. Here's this video from 7 years ago from ESPN: "There's always an excuse with the men's US national soccer team."
I know American players who can dribble better than Pique but they aren’t even playing in MLS. That is not the job of the 9. Try dribbling the ball a ton and you won’t get into a lineup.
No Pepi, No party!
It’s Pepi

I don’t think you understand the purpose of a 9

Budy, did you not see Haji Wright dribble down RW that led the 2nd goal for Coventry against Luton?
