the first game has brobably been my favourite for this year. I have never seen any zerg player just constantly send wave after wave of pure zergling armies, and for it to work so well.
That game one is literally only Dark. No other player would make a move like that. Absolutly incredible how he continues to exude final boss energy in every single game he plays.
“What, did the zerglings jump up and rip apart your starships?” “No. Our ships were actually fine. The zerglings just ripped apart all our homes before we could kill them.”
Ahh Dark, never change. Serral is the over mind of the Zerg, it's tactical and strategic genius, controlling with perfection. But Dark is the killer instinct.
Queen together are strong! God, that Dark despite knowing Hero change to fly army he still build & upgrade melee armies and send wave after wave and didnt give Hero time to breath. Gg
Man, Dark was so impressive in the first game. Used ultras and burrow since he knew the robo was dead. Knew the absolutely precise situation to use microbial shroud and actually went for it. No HT for feedback since he sniped the templar archives, no air attack since he took out the cyber core, no robo units to deal with the queens. Shows how good he is as a reactionary zerg that adapts to the state of the game and how to precisely punish his opponent based on the damage he'd already done.
Dark's pulling of drones is something he does better than pretty much anyone else. And yeah he pretty much embarrassed hero there, but per usual their games are still fun to watch. The prequel games give a ton of context to the main set.
One of the key moments for game two for me, that flank at 25:23 had it not been for that flank and the hydra's staying to the right to stay ahead of the blink stalkers, essentially staying in flanking position, of not for that. her0 might have come back
Her0's blunk in game 2 is what did him in. If he continued dancing on the edge of the creep, he might've been able to keep Dark busy while he got a fourth. Occasionally he overestimates the stalkers against lings/hydras or feels too much pressure to get something done, just like against Serral in the Masters Tournament.
30:02 2024 and we're still reminiscing on the past of a gambler LIFE. I hate him for what he did and then I love him for what he did on the starcraft 2 scene. He was the zerg that never stopped who truly understood the game of maximizing on opponent's small mistakes here and there. i still miss him and i hate him for leaving such a legacy as he did. If you look up the top earners of money in sc2, LIFE is still up there at top 50. He's been banned 10+ years ago and he still made top 50 money. i hate him and love him ughhhh
No, if you go back, it was 12 queens vs 6 carriers. Queens had 2 armor upgrades + 1 basic. Interceptors do like 6 damage. Cloud halves the damage from air. Not sure which one is applied first, but it was like 1-2 damage per hit from carriers. Then factor in transfusions...
That's it, now my two favorite match up are dark vs hero for their unpredictable way of playing the game, and clem vs maxpax for constant and endless fight from start to finish. PvZ/PvT best mu in good hand
I nearly never comment on anything. but I'd just like Winter to know, I've been watching your stream for years and making sure to have your videos I've seen 10x over to play at all times of the evening in the hopes that my small contribution at least provides a coffee or two a month for your good work.
Funny, I had just recently watched Classic massacre Zerglings five times in a row with basically the same strategy as this and now I see her0 had done the same thing here even earlier. Are there any games, where a Zerg actually survives this? I haven't seen a counter that works, yet.
In case u dont know, its like little jokes yet pretty accurate traits on how they personally play, and u only get a card if you made it to the finals at some point.
2 draws of terran and not float? No I feel like most of the draws involve turtle terran that would be too costly to attack into, and too weak to be on the move (tanks, mines, liberators, that kind of thing, maybe even some planetarys)
Always so.much talk about "the meta" of sc2. But really if the game was perfectly balanced there wouldn't be such a thing as the meta. But sc2 is the best we have by far when it comes to balanced real time strategy games
"Most professional" starcraft cast, yet you talk to yourself and roleplay as imaginary characters every episode 😂 U funny. Like ur casts mainly because you're a silly guy. I'm a silly one tooooo haha

Lore accurate
That whas epick. WOW
And the microbial shroud! No one ever uses that spell! A wild strat that just worked
How zerg is meant to be
first Zerg player to ever kill the robo in order to *force the protoss into skytoss*
herO and dark..a tale as old as time
Hero the beauty. Dark the beast
Lol 😂 yes
A tale as old as Olivera👀
Dark truly is like a lore accurate Zerg swarm. Just an endless stream of sharp biomass flowing towards the opposing side of the minimap.
That game one is literally only Dark. No other player would make a move like that. Absolutly incredible how he continues to exude final boss energy in every single game he plays.
herO, Dark, and Winter will forever be a goated way to start Monday mornings
“What, did the zerglings jump up and rip apart your starships?”
“No. Our ships were actually fine. The zerglings just ripped apart all our homes before we could kill them.”

Perhaps one of the cerebrates? Not sure which. I’m rusty on my lore.
Dark on small prizes events: yeah wathever
Dark on big money prizes events: you will face the all mighty strenht of the swarm
That game 1 was pure magic. Sensational micro and game sense.
That game 1 is the reason why Dark, despite not being the best Zerg in the world, is the best Zerg in the world.
Dark fighting skytoss with zerglings and ultralisks is the most dark thing
Queen together are strong!
God, that Dark despite knowing Hero change to fly army he still build & upgrade melee armies and send wave after wave and didnt give Hero time to breath. Gg

Adaptation and evolution fits the theme of Zerg nicely too 😂
Dark donation.
It's like you know exactly when I look at youtube in the morning. Perfect.
35:00 I like to think that probe got a high five there 😂
The Queen impressions get me every time; love it.
😁
The threat of Ricky in that first match was just too great. I would have folded too😂😂
It takes a big man to hold that many zerglings, final boss size hands even.
Incredible back and forth!
The most lore accurate ZvP pro match.
Could have used a dark Templar to tell us how the Protoss messed up.
Dark's pulling of drones is something he does better than pretty much anyone else. And yeah he pretty much embarrassed hero there, but per usual their games are still fun to watch. The prequel games give a ton of context to the main set.
"Not nearly enough to deal with the adepts" Dark heard you and accepted the challenge.
I love Dark's ability to turn any match into total chaos lol
Thank you for make my day a little bit better as always winter
I liked and subscribed to encourage you. You're my favorite SC2 caster. Your commentary is always both on-point and entertaining.
Dark, Hero and Byun are basically the Holy Trinity of Starcraft II.
Dark literally countered carriers with zerglings
Dark: Zergling flood every game
Winter: DARK'S NEW ZERGLING FLOOD STRATEGY
One of the key moments for game two for me, that flank at 25:23 had it not been for that flank and the hydra's staying to the right to stay ahead of the blink stalkers, essentially staying in flanking position, of not for that. her0 might have come back
game one gave me a wide smile.
what a demonstration of the Swarm.

25:25: This is the pursuit tactics we always want to see but never do 💙
You really enjoyed that one huh? Awesome cast! :)
This guy is funny AF, poor Jimmy will he ever get a raise??😂
Thank you Winter for your dedication to Starcraft 2 and your talent to make everithing much funnier when casting❤
What game was it that ended in a draw between spore crawler and Cannon?
What is the song at 33:04? I heard that wow ost, but does anyone know bit more?
Arthas My Son
@@DiscombobulatingName Thank you!
@@enlightenerr8342 look up the video of Invisible dying, it's really sad
I appreciate how mellow you are instead of shouting
Please scuse my ignorance but, they really get the bonus that are shown in the heartstone cards?
No, the cards are just the meme made by winter to represent the playstyle of each player.
“Thats whats called ‘get blue mineraled’” 😂
Ricky The Accidental Swarm Host is my favorite supporting character in any Dark game
Does anyone have the game Winter mentioned that ended in a unburrowed spore vs cannon draw? I'd love to see how it got to that point.
God I love the Queen dialogue everytime
Is there a clip where Dark ranks himself as number one?
Or how did that meme come to life?
There was a survey done at one of the big tournaments where they asked everyone to rank the best players. Dark got one vote - Dark's.
@@KingOfNebbishesthat's the funniest thing I've heard in a week. Thank you
@@KingOfNebbishes nobody else voted for Dark?
@davidstud3952 everybody else voted for Serral, a few mightve gone to Maru but I don't recall.
@@cousinpatsey2471 Although I get the Serral votes, its not too far fetched to vote for Dark 😁
now game one was one of the GREATEST displays of sauron zerg ive seen! holy SHIT that was insane-
the Siege Tanks and Liberators take a while to siege up. Wish there was an upgrade or something to speed up their set up time.
queens dominating carriers is pretty demoralizing
queens are the best unit in the game with a tier all their own
@@fierzali6297 By cost, sure. But that was like 10 queens holding ground against 12 carriers. That is bonkers.
@@nathanmays7926 zerg op, are you new ?

Our Hero vs The Final Boss, will this tale of valor end in tragedy?
gonna watch the first game on repeat
Thank You
Om nom nom

“Parting vs…the opposite of death.”
😉
Was his camera smaller this video or is that just me.
That second game was the best PvZ I've ever seen.
Keep on casting starcraft!
this is the swarm i love.
It's Brenda, Susan, Lucille, and Jennifer!!!
What are the comments on the game cards? Are they the latest buffs and nerfs?
In case u dont know, its like little jokes yet pretty accurate traits on how they personally play, and u only get a card if you made it to the finals at some point.
Microbial Shroud... didn't even know that was a spell.
Hero needs to build collossal since the 1st game
wheres that 2v2 replay tho?
I just watched G1 and it was so good. Real strategy here.
Now i want to watch the 2v2 hero/dark vs seral/maxpax feels like a dbz fanfiction !
Wow amazing matches
Dark is my spirit animal
I hit the subscribe button every day
no matter how good Serral is, I agree with Dark. Dark is the best player. Absolute madman.
Lets.. Freaking... Go!
Dark is the her0 we need.
For once the prequel is actually important to understanding the original!
1st game is like "Defense of Aiur"
Just cast the Serral and Maru game already.
The map is dark & full of Dark 👀💀
I'm losing my mind over this.
SPOILER:
What a sweep... Now i feel kinda bad for protoss, but that was quite a performance from Dark
2 draws of terran and not float?
No I feel like most of the draws involve turtle terran that would be too costly to attack into, and too weak to be on the move (tanks, mines, liberators, that kind of thing, maybe even some planetarys)
how is it a new strat though lmao literally oldest trick in the book vs protoss
This is better than tv , change my mind.
... and Charge still not done. Maybe they charge too much for it 😁😁
Swarmtacular
What did I just see?
Why does DARK ZERGLING FLOOD make my pants warm?
Zerglings against Carriers... Zerglings win.
Is Jimmy real
Great casting, but why do you keep spoiling the results? For the last N videos, I know who's gonna win just from the title/thumbnail.
Always so.much talk about "the meta" of sc2. But really if the game was perfectly balanced there wouldn't be such a thing as the meta. But sc2 is the best we have by far when it comes to balanced real time strategy games
Hero always fights vs two opponents when he plays. The other player and Hero’s terrible base defense.
Soup 3
Im starting to think jimmy is gimped up in the corner and likes to be shamed off camera
"Most professional" starcraft cast, yet you talk to yourself and roleplay as imaginary characters every episode 😂
U funny.
Like ur casts mainly because you're a silly guy.
I'm a silly one tooooo haha
A cannon in the mineral lines would have saved her0 a lot of trouble
Lol not watching? He had those and they were torn to shreds instantly.
Game 1 so embarrassing
First
❤
Why cant her0 fucking rebuild the wall to stop getting killed by zerglings? Is he mentally impeded or what?
