Based on this episode, I can see that Ariel is a wonderfully understanding and accepting human who is full of grace and empathy for others. I can also see how Ned was able to convince her to stay with him and get her to accept him dancing around the fidelity line. I'm thinking of a video he and Kelsey did about cheating and how he had said things got inappropriate with another girl and he told Ariel and she forgave him.

As a 30-something who is into fandoms....there is a line between enjoying it and having some stuff from it (I have a princess leia coffee mug that says "we should all be rebels" that I drink my coffee out of every morning, for example) and having what amounts to a shrine of your fandom. My husband and I have agreed that our bills and food always come first but then if I want to get a funko pop of a character to display in my office (i work with students and my students LOVE IT) then go for it. Fandoms also were what gave me something to focus on when I was suicidal that was not hurting myself so part of me will always love them for that. But dealbreaker? Not unless it's eating up all of their money or they're not communicating about it. Communication is always key!
This was enormous fun. From the description I thought ugh, another dating guide. I am ashamed of myself. I should have known that this group was intrinsically incapable of being mundane.
