Thank you for this brief and clear description of the cause and treatment of a spinal synovial cyst. The pain was excruciating and debilitating in my experience, and there was little relief to be had prior to surgery. However, in my case, the pain was relieved successfully with surgery. Unfortunately, I had developed spondiolisthesis and required fusion. Recovering from that is no joke. Fingers crossed it doesn't happen at another level!

also wonder if certain medications affect the pressure in the brain? The doctors say it doesn't but I'm not so sure. I am currently taking quentapine, bupropion, lamotrigine, paraflex and zolpidem. No over-the-counter pills help with the pain. But I get some help from diclofenac if I apply it to my throat, neck and back. And I always sit with ice packs that I press against my head and neck

hi! Tanks for this channel. looks like i have chiari. (But thet dont really know). the doctors where I live had no idea what it is and they had to google it. I have no trust in the doctors here in Sweden. over the course of a year my symptoms have increased and increased. I don't know where to turn. I think I have to have surgery because my problems are increasing almost every week. will i be permanently ill? who should i talk to? I can have pain all over my body. sometimes in the legs sometimes in the arms. It feels like my spine is now crooked. can't sleep anymore cus i wake up hurting. according to the doctors here it could be longer than 3 months before I even get to see a doctor. I'm afraid my symptoms will be much worse by then. What do you think I should do?

I have been to the emergency room several times because I feel like I can't get air and that my head is going to explode. I get sent home every time and they say it's panic disorder.
I have had problems all my life with depression but my symptoms have suddenly increased incredibly in a year. the doctors have never found anything wrong with me and I have been to countless doctors. I was the one who had to nag about getting an x-ray in the end because the pain is unbearable. because I didn't have a fever, they said I had a virus and should go home and rest. but rest only makes it worse. I wonder if the pressure in the brain increases when you sleep?

Why can I not get pain medication for the excruciating pain while waiting for a cortisone shot???? I could lose my whole living because of this pain. Are we in America? I'm serious. Please answer.
