I have the new edition, NewQ C750. It is so confusing, so frustrating to use! I agree with your experience using it. Thank you for your honesty.

I own the WD-03 and WD-09, and you've pointed out the main weakness of the product, the software and manual. There's nothing intuitive about it. I called RAVPower's customer service and wrote a step-by-step procedure for all transfer functions. Now, it's easy.... once you figure out the logic of the software, it's not difficult. Plus, your video is deficient by now attempting the SD>USB transfer. It's easy.... Your review fits your description, by taking it to the next step by learning the product thoroughly, it would've been a lot better. Simply taking a fresh SD card, taking a couple pictures and attempting the one-button transfer function you could have demo'd what you liked or dislike about the feature.

Hello and thank you for the video. Yeah in my experience any of these portable file hubs just end up crashing under the pressure. This is a really obvious great idea and I'm surprised in 2020 no one has mastered it. Who doesn't want to be able to wirelessly dump their memory without having to fidget what a bunch of nonsense.

I think the portable wireless router aspect of the unit is secondary to the file sharing aspect of this device . I bought it because I have an iPad mini with only 64gb of storage and use it to transfer my files from the iPad to a 1tb pioneer SSD drive that's connected to the Rav power . Work's flawlessly in that aspect and if you connect an SD card and hit the SD/USB button it copies everything over to the pioneer drive and leaves the original files on your sd cards. I guess we all have different uses for it .

I have the filehub plus. Found that if you put your videos in the root/share/video folder, then it shows up when you tap the video icon. The same is true on the other icons to info format.
Yes sometimes things are a little convoluted but that happens with tech more often than not.
Hope this helped. Thank you for making the vid.

Good to know. Now if they could just hire a user interface expert to make it easy... :-)

Yeah it's not totally intuitive but read the manual sir and you'll see the formats this supports as well as what others stated it setups folders for you and you put your photo's, video's and such in those folders and they work. BTW the backup feature works for your phone and a SD card.

The product is great, however there is space for improvement. The sw sucks. If you push the SD or the connected HDD icon, you actually ejecting them. unplug and replug in. Instead of their sw use the FE File Explorer (pro version) from the appstore. Then you have more option to transfer from "anywhere to anywhere" (HDD/SDcard/Cloud/external HD via WIFI..) and play the files as well. On android use the ES File Explorer

Once the device acts as a wireless router for say a tablet to browse the hotels wifi could i essentially plug in a ethernet and have a hardline to the filehub so it gives my laptop that nicer download time for my music?

Been a while since I was evaluating this unit, but if you want to have a hardwired connection, why not just use the one in the hotel without this router in the loop?
