SD > USB isn't a data switch between source. Attach both SD and USB drive/stick and it will backup the data from the SD to the USB drive/stick when pressed.

The device is hardwired to my network. however, I cannot see that device in my windows 11 laptop under network. have installed NewHub on my mobile devices as instructed in the manual. And in the NewHub mobile app, on the home page, when I click on videos - nothing. I copied my movies to the new filehub folder called movies - but still nothing appearing in videos. Please advise and thank you

I’d like someone to actually show the setup for wireless mode. Because the setup and app is not friendly. So far out of the hundreds of video on this, no one wants to show setup because it’s complicated. Nor does it seem to work for very long if you do get it setup. Then you have to try and figure out how to set it up again.
Had the older version which still works. Is it possible to stream 4k from the device to yr phone/tablet? GoPro recorded 4k vids, the older version would buffer
are you sure this is the AC-750 ? the model number you are showing is the RP-WD009 which has a MICRO port for charging. is there a USB-C port on this ? PLEASE double check because i think your description above is misleading ! i want to know if i can plug in a USB-C flash drive and i don't think this is possible on this (older) model TIA
It seems like the ethernet port can only work in WAN mode but not in LAN mode, ie. it is not possible to get an IP assigned via DHCP on devices connecting via ethernet :-/
Sounds like a nifty gadget but I bought a multi usb power adapter by Ravpower that was meant to have quick charge (and quick charge never worked) so I'm skeptical about the reliability of a much more complex device than just a usb power supply hub.

What do you think about the security? The ip address for the admin site is not encrypted. My browser displayed insecure. And the gui saves all passwords for the routers you connect to into their database. I'm not a security expert but I would like to know if this could be a concern.

I can't see my Chromecast device from the Filehub app. I have however got it to work but via the phone and not as I'd hoped, a direct link. I use All Screen on my Android device. In the Filehub app touch on the video file you want to see, hold your finger till the screen changes to check boxes next to each file, tick the box (can only do one file at a time), tap (hamburger) More and then select Use a third party player , select a player which has casting capabilities (eg All Screen), all going well sit back and enjoy.
This may be a dumb question, but I know next to nothing about wireless devices and I am going to be abroad for about a year. If I were to purchase this device and was in an area where I could not connect my phone to an existing WiFi network, could I simply turn this device on and access the Internet and use apps like WhatsApp or Line or Facebook Messenger?
I find an issue with connecting the FileHub to wifi. It connects to my iPad/iPhone with no problem however it is just hateful getting connected to the outside world. There must be something I just don’t understand.

I've had it for 2 weeks now.. Love it.. Use at work to get wifi.. Nobody knows! Haha. You have to hold the power button for a couple of seconds until it starts blinking. Than just wait for the wifi to turn on. If you press power button on just once it doesn't turn on the wifi or atleast that's what I noticed

Yes I‘m getting also about 1 GB from SD-card to HD with the WD009. I think for journey it‘s okay.

I purchased the RP-WD009 on 1/15/2019. Mine has a micro USB port for charging. Does yours have the same? The RP-WD007 came with a USB-C.
