I agree with Nicholas Nyati the South African Trading union is packed with corruption and packed with exploitation regimes. The DA needs to make a plan in rooting out COSATU'S corruption. There are key steps in Solve South Africa from complete collapse. The DA also needs to fix South Africa's Deficit issue where South Africa imports more than Exports.

The most work must be rescued from the foreigners.
I also disagree with the govt setting a minimum wage. Explain that it is better to work for, say, R25 an hour for 8 hrs per day for 5days a week, 4 weeks a month. R4000 a month beats R350 hands down! If you explain that simple analogy you will be better able to get through to people money talks!

I now understood the article of a town in Eastern Cape where EPWP Workers said they like the ANC t shirt - because it affords them an opportunity that no one else even gets - a job.

would som1 lik to work for 3500 a month or get 350 grant ? i think its obvious.. drop the minimum wage, its an open market, willing employer willing employee.. if the employee is willing to work for an amount, who are the unions or any1 else to say no, they cannot work cos its not minimum wage.. this will also get people to gain that vital experience and skills to be able to move up..
Larger companies should have a minimum wage otherwise they will exploit SA's high unemployment rate.
Smaller companies should be exempt and the market should be allowed to set the wage.
Having said that , as a small businessman , I found that paying really low wages gave you unmotivated workers.
Paying peanuts gets you monkeys , as the saying goes.
what happens or what is planned for our homeless, jobless seniors is there any help directed towards them. just asking.

im glad you are fighting for the jobless but i send a message to the DA aswell as chris from kroonstad DA office without any reply from the DA so how can you say you are fighting for the people. we are ready to vote DA but they are deaf to our people.
