Meta Knight is so proud of Kirby right now. Starting from his debut, Meta Knight has been a sort of trainer / mentor for Kirby, & this is essentially a magnum opus of all his hard work. Kirby has become a suitable protector for Dreamland, and Meta Knight couldn’t be any more proud of their stooge.

Having already seen this video in advance, my favorite part has to be 1:33. The double-meaning in the lyrics is a big nod to both an older Kirby game and Meta Knight's friendship with Kirby!

We agree. That was absolutely the best part of the song. The Star Allies allusion, the friendship between the two, and just the tone of how it's said makes it perfect!
And we aren't just saying that because Star Allies was when we returned after 2 decades. It's legitimately amazing.

This is exactly what I wanted from lyrics of this song. Like, if I made a check list, I would tick every box. This was just amazing and it really fits with the battle. There's even *Spanish.* just the icing on the cake.
I was tempted to make a Spanish version, but I still haven't learned how to sing with a spanish accent so I decided not to. I'm glad you really enjoyed the music video!

I was thinking, "wild spring breeze seems like an oxymoron", and just now it hit me. Wild. Spring Breeze. The two difficulties in the game. Very clever.
I'm pretty sure it's not an oxymoron. Wild and Spring both contribute to provide extra definitions to "Breeze" without being redundant.

Spanish Meta Knight is here to fight alongside Kirby! The amount of references to other games was unfathomable, the what-I’m-assuming-is-Spanish is well placed, and his voice is soothing in my opinion! You did great Toxic!

I love this. The lyrics fit well while bringing up being his mentor in Adventure and Planet Robobot and bringing up being controlled by the Jamba heart and Void from Star Allies and the Beast Packs Reign. Well done man!

@@ToxicPea hey, you REALLY shouldn't say "anda" meaning to tell someone to go away, that's a latin american spanish expression and meta knight's anime accent (I'm guessing you get the spanish words from there) is actually Spain Spanish. common misconception, but being from Spain myself it angers me to see this kind of stuff on one of the few spanish characters out there. at least I still have Vega

OH MY GOSH! This is probably one of the best Kirby covers I have ever heard (and trust me, I've heard A LOT of Kirby covers)! Not only are the lyrics astounding with so much meaning behind them, but your voice fits Meta Knight so well! I cannot get over the spanish at the beginning and end because of his spanish accent in the anime. And all the refrances to the older kirby games were so cool! This is absolutely amazing. That is indeed what a leimotif is for, and I poke fun at the fact that ironically, Meta Knight has so many reoccurring leitmotifs that at this point that he's sick and tired of it all.

I tell you what, it's nice to see someone who treats Meta Knight's battles as training for Kirby. Outside of Planet Robobot and Epic Yarn, Meta Knight had been a trainer to Kirby; someone to push him to his limits so that he can fight whatever threat he needs to. Also nice job putting some Spanish in there, refrencing Right Back at Ya Meta Knight
I don’t usually allow the anime to influence my work, since I haven’t fully watched it and neither is it the same canon to the games’, but I let Spanish Meta Knight slide because this is never explicitly denied by HAL, and well everyone in the community loves el muchacho poderoso. The same guess work can be applied to all the non-possession fights against Meta Knight after Adventure. It’s not “explicitly” training but it would be perfectly character-consistent to say that it was!

Dedede is just too good honestly, and while it's the anime Dedede i like most i can see he's just as good in the games. Especially since he saves a Waddle Dee near the end of Forgotten Land.

I will never forget the day after I first saw this video(I saw it and morph night on the same day), the lyrics “whether by Jamba Heart or by the honors of war, may our powers increase up until the wild sky so blue, do not falter STAR ALLIES we still are” continuously echoed through my brain over and over, until I eventually remembered the full song. And here I still am today, more or less (there are some minor details I’ve missed) remembering not only all of your songs, but also quite a few of Juno’s. It’s both amazing and terrifying that this and Ligma with lyrics made me go from an intermediate Kirby fan to someone with an obsession over not only the little pink guy, but your channel, and I can’t wait for the next season 4 vids, whether they take another 2 weeks or 2 years, I will be waiting, no matter how long it takes, I will be one of the day one viewers and that my friend, is a promise. Also I would just like to say this again, as I have on some posts of yours, I’m very sorry about some of the [Poyo] that you have needed to deal with.

I like how Elfilin says "wait who?" Cause the Meta Knight Cup is before world 4 and he probably wouldn't know King Dedede otherwise cause he probably went through the portal before Kirby so he wouldn't have time to properly know who he is
Because Meta Knight was stated to have reached Winter Horns before flying back to defend Waddle Dee town (only returning after Clawroline is defeated), I made the narrative choice in the lyrics to have him at least see the controlled Dedede from afar before going homewards, if not outright try to undo his mind-control like he had himself broken out of. It's pretty cool.

When my friend and I first heard Meta Knight's Forgotten Land theme, we both agreed that it felt like it was missing vocals. This perfectly fills that empty space, because GOD these lyrics are good.

Fun fact, I made an error in the lyrics. Kirby's normal combo route is actually Forward Throw to Forward air. Down Throw to Forward air for Kirby is not actually possible.
