Grateful my dad and I never had to settle our shit like this. We only got in a physical altercation once, over the way he talked to my mom after she and I were in a car accident. I walked out before things escalated to real violence. He ended up calling and apologizing. He's a good man.

Sadly my trauma as a kid is one of the reasons I'm scared of being weak. Some fathers don't realize how them acting tough towards us can really hurt when we grow up.
My Father was a good man, just lightly thrashed me twice or thrice, and all of it was my mistake. However My Brother Gave me Trauma as a Child. I could never forgive him.

Bruh I literally had this happen between me and my father. My father is a man with a huge pride and ego. And it makes him not a pleasant person to be around. It’s always about power with him. My dads about 6” I’m 6’3 in a half he’s about 180 I’m about 250 so in every way physically I’m more superiors plus I’m 28 in my prime he’s 50, instead of Leading with wisdom, he always tried to lead with brute force with me. Well I finally pulled his card. I almost killed him. I could’ve a part of me wanted to But God always has his hands on me. So I spared and he pulled a knife on me and tried to kill me. Long story short he’s in jail begging me to not press charges. If I don’t press charges Id spare him twice. I told him as long as we both on earth don’t come around me I’m glad I let that toxicity go out my life I feel so much more powerful and better.

People like to play with your emotions and respect in and the Son will learn to stay away from people who trigger any negative emotions on his life - He will try to steer himself on the right path and stay away from people like his father... Im having trouble trying to answer this - Because the son could have turned out better if the father built his son with positive emotions growing up- But could that have made the son soft and steer off into a different path where the son turns out to not be fully happy?? Facts my dad knew he had 3 boys so hone day we would all be bigger than him one day he was only 5’9 but weighed 220lbs he used to beat the shit out of us a little kids like 3,45 year olds up until I was 11 and was sent to a foster home. He threatened us multiple times to kill us if we ever tried anything. I think it’s just fathers want to always be above their sons and never weaker. Smh today we are 14,15,16 but if we still lived with him today we would most likely be able to take him.
