Im lazy to google, but i think song is about Ukranian war. Language spoken in the song is Ukranian and the song name is " ..The Eastern Front" oposed to "..The Western Front". The band loves to put this clasic slavic songs and chants to work with what they want to say. I am not sure if that one is an actual Ukranian song. My favorite implementation is "Prognan - Po Ovoj Zimi Nalazimo Smrt" (Exiled - In this winter we're finding death) because they put a classical Balkan Slavic song: "Još ne sviće rujna zora" (Red morning Is Still Not Dawning) - by Barcelona Gipsy balKan Orchestra - is my favorite depiction. Brings me to tears every time. I dont know why, but slavic songs are overwhelmingly dark / sad or melancholic and they fit perfectly in songs like this. Dobry video vy s hladnogo sěvera. I don't think this song is about this particular ongoing war, but about the sadness and futility that follows a soldier's sacrifice in any war. Indeed the song is a classical Ukrainian song, and I think they threw it into their song because it is a war that is now happening, so the emotions were probably even higher. Very melancholic and bleak indeed. Also, the song that you mentioned "Po ovoj zimi..." is also my favourite from this great album, and "Još ne sviće rujna zora" is a classical Montenegrin song (actually interpreted by various Yugoslav folk singers) but the words were written by a poet from Vojvodina (northern part of Serbia). I am so glad that people from far away enjoy this music, greetings from Serbia!
Prognan first album Naši Životi Više ne Postoje and second Sve je Tiho na Istočnom Frontu is about WWI..not about war in Ukraine..they prepare third album Sjene Nad Balkanom..ali 3 albums is about WWI..and band come from Croatia..they sing about Serbian soldiers in War..exspecialy first album is excelent..avoid politics and ideology only show horor of war's for simply man,soldier...
