At first, I thought the Mexican drink might be agua fresca, but it sounded more like it was just watermelon juice on it's own. Don't get me wrong... that's great too, but the added herbal flavor of flowers like hibiscus or the unmistakable sour/sweet tang from fruit like tamarind that are often blended with the watermelon juice, would have been something that they noticed from the first sip. It does make me wonder if they would have liked it or if they'd have thought it was a little too different? I'm pretty sure that our resident "sweet tooth" Mr. C would have asked for the pineapple juice/Suco de Abacaxi back! LOL This was fun!

    • @OffGridInvestor

They definitely would've picked up on tamarind if it was in there because it's very common in asia. I even seen some growing in Darwin, nothernmost city if Australia when I was there in 08.

We are not used to drinking pineapple juice. Instead, the most popular and typical fruit juice here is 'suco de caju'. (cashew juice,)

Some of the comments annoy me! We don't all eat chillies and curry so it becomes rude some of the tasters.

Where I live in Arizona it's getting mighty hot. It's 100F And 38C. Ugh! I can't have juice because of my diabetes, so I drink unsweetened ice tea and water to stay cool. It's very boring as I can't have anything sweet anymore (boo!). I would like a nice strawberry shake or lemonade but no!

I strongly recommend kvass/kwas, a Slavic beverage made by fermenting rye bread until it's sour-sweet and fizzy (non-alcoholic unless the bottle states so), it's super refreshing, rich in lactic acid so beneficial for your health and immunity and has been drunk by Slavic people since the middle ages

I could drink ayran every day. Always found it strange how much my childhood friends hated it until using salty yogurt started to become more of a thing in the U.S.

I like home style lemonade with the pulp. If lemonade is made right, it is a little bit sour and tart.

You should do this same kind of video, but with cocktails (if they can drink cocktails, of course)... The brazilian Caipirinha, the american Whiskey Sour, the chilean/peruvian Pisco Sour, the cuban Mojito and Piña Colada, the french Bloody Mary, the spanish Sangria, ...

Lemonade is also very helpful for tiredness. Peoples who do not drink coffee would find lemonade or orange juice helpful at waking up in the morning time.
