I'm trying to understand the drain systems you offer. Other drains have weep holes or ways for water to drain but the drain is sitting 1/2" above your waterproofing membrane. So any water that gets under the tile (tile isn't waterproof) just sits there. Am I missing something?
@@slavaavnilov6178 From my understanding almost all systems have weeping holes for this specific reason. grout and tile are not waterproof. Moisture will get underneath at some point.
Not sure if just me but there is alot wrong with this video and system, 1 weep holes in the drain? commenter below is correct this will lead to water sitting around the drain which WILL result in a failure one way or another also should be putting band over the thinset on the fasteners!

if water goes under the tile. then you need new tile setter it is nothing to do with shower base

Is it just me or did he install the curbs backwards? Looks like the notch on the bottom of the curbs should over lap the base?
