@@EricAndAsh I think I misspelled a word here. I meant "Madyan", not "Madian". I cannot give you a reference right now, but I know I have read in the past that "Madyan" was the main city of Midian.

@@maccabelli2024 we've never tried to cross the border. The one time we went to Jordan we flew. We have our own car but know of people who have been able to rent 4x4s in Yanbu and Tabuk.

Fabulous footage. Have wanted to see shots of this area for years. I suspect Magna, not Al Bad, is the site of ancient Madian.
I thought that Midian was more of a region and Magna and Al Bad were both part settlements of the same people group.
