At night, I'm having severe insomnia and have some mental disorders, but I'm not complaining, yo, at night see, well, I'm a nice friendly fellow, believe me. But I get agitation and aggression that I can't really release without hurting people. And yo, bruv, these DO help to get out some of the building aggression outta my head, vicariously. Nice job bruv! You're now an official therapist, better than any psychiatrist I've had since being shifted to Keizer Permanente (which, fyi, means Permanent King, in Deutsch, and before becoming a medical office was a German Cement company) Weird heh? I only have one Permanent King, Jesus Christ, my Savior. But indeed , thank you for compiling some therapy (always seems odd the-rapy?) for a weary, agitated friendly dude who hates bullies.👍
What I love about 'Nobody' (the last scene) is how much damage everyone takes, after one minute they are all injured, bloodied and tired. The fight isn't 5 minutes long with characters brushing off every hit, it feels so much more real than most other Hollywood fight scenes
I get your point but in other ways it was completely unrealistic. Whenever more than one guy grabbed him they somehow magically would get pushed and completely let go of him and disengage. He could have been wrapped up and held extremely easily many times in that fight.
@@jesseaustin4089 people only think of themselves in a fight, no one is planning to coordinate an actual attack. everyone is trying to fight him without taking damage preventing them from going all in
The funniest bit about that scene is that the knife-fighting bits are completely accurate, complete with how the knife is turned against the (incompetent) wielder. There's a YT video from a knife-fighting army trainer somewhere, where he basically goes through everything they got right.

@mystletainn3723 I've trained martial arts since I was 13 in 1980 and was never looking for a fight. But at one point, I had to face the fears of my childhood and started working as a bouncer. It was an experience I wouldn't wanna miss and years later, I read "Watch My Back" by British bouncer Geoff Thompson. A read you shouldn't miss.
Part two was all just roadmen against roadmen. Part three was better but still gave in at the end to having roadmen vs roadmen. Hope part 4 picks up the slack
"Nobody" is such an underrated film. I've met a lot of the older spec ops, and retired CIA spooks through ny work over the years and they did nail the image spot on. Most of those guys, you wouldnt be able to pick out of a small crowd, but they are all extremely deadly and capable. The movie could have been great with a little less "Hollywood" to the fight scenes, but still extremely enjoyable to watch.
I like that scene because it's surprisingly accurate. I'm always seeing yanks beating their chests about how they beat the British as if it was a solo endeavour. They _always_ miss the fact that it literally required the combined efforts of every other major player at the time to beat the British. I think that says a lot more about the might of Britain than it does about America in my opinion. It's widely agreed upon by historians that had American truly fought Britain one-on-one they would have been steamrolled. Those same yanks will also make fun of the French relentlessly as if they aren't one of the nations they should be thanking for their independence. And they wonder why every other country in the world despises them so much.
@@arstulex honestly I think the debts were paid in world war I and world war II because without American intervention in either war Europe would be under Nazi occupation. And without American leadership post world war II Europe would probably be under Soviet occupation.....
To me it's not so much the western backdrop so much, it's like The Outlaw Josey Wales in that it's about the nature of violence. No glamour, no cool factor, just the cold destructive corrosive nature of violence. I saw Unforgiven when it came out at the cinema, it was a game changer in the movie industry that went well beyond the western genre, and it was clear to see. Clint's best film from the director's chair and alongside the very best of his acting career.
I'd rate it #3, behind Once Upon a Time in the West and The Searchers. It's obviously all highly subjective though. (I have Liberty Valance at #4, with #5 either Josey Wales or The Good, The Bad etc. depending on my mood at the time). I would go so far as to say that Unforgiven is, however, by far the best Western made in the last 50 years, and one of the best movies.
