Through her portrayal of Dana, Mallori reveals how the past can unite us.
The novel, by Octavia Butler, is everything! This series, so far, depletes the raw energy of the narrative and weighs it down with so many extra characters. The nosy neighbors feel absolutely contrived because they show up in almost every scene saying the same thing. Nauseating.
This is the best series I have seen in a very, very long time. The actress that plays Dana does a great job!!
When is season 2 ?!?!?!
I knew I was gonna regret watching this show. I just knew I was gonna like it and then get robbed of additional seasons. This seems to be the blueprint for mostly black shows. Now I'm depressed.
Good concept for a show, but they should have named it something different. The title makes those who’ve read the novel think it’s an adaptation of the book… making it a little disappointing.
Good show, had weird pacing issues though but overall I had a good time
