Exporting / Importing Fusion Comps: As Boosuf mentioned, with a Fusion Comp open go to File > Export > Fusion Composition.... You can then create an empty Fusion Comp in a new project and go to File > Import > Fusion Composition...
Love this C0nti!!!! I used to go just grab a green screen to easily do this but you know me I would rather do all in DR! and now I know how to do it. Big *HUG🤗* Thanks! *IcloneFun🤩*
@@C0ntiChannel Yeh, that was an effect that came with Iclone popcornfx effects. But as I said, Iam so pro DR that all my post editing will be done in DR even many of my graphics.... and Iam talking about how insane the Boris Effect 2000 effects Particle Illusion is in DR ... oh my goodness. But must have Continuum to use it in DR which I do.
Hi IcloneFun. All of the comments are here! The Continuum effects look amazing and I do have some ideas about how to try doing something similar from scratch in DR. Watch this space! 😉
Hi @OfficialAndersonScarborough. Many thanks for commenting. In Fusion, you can select your pRender node and insert (SHIFT+SPACE) a Drop Shadow node; the properties for this can be adjusted in the Inspector window. This should present a dark shade under each confetti piece that will show on a clip placed on a lower video track in your Edit window. Hope that helps.
Great video. How can I render it as transparency so I can use it in other videos? I rendered in GIF, MOV, and MP4 tried to use it in other video but the black background still show. I only want the confetti over my video clip. Thanks in advance.
Hi @visalsoknou5064 . Many thanks for your comment. You can export the project in the Delivery window with transparency around the actual image by selecting Single Clip, QuickTime, GoPro CineForm, RGB 16-bit and having Export Alpha ticked, but the exported video file only seems to open up with transparency surrounding the confetti in other DaVinci Resolve projects and not in other software files like a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation; it would be easier if possible to just insert the video that you wish to apply this effect to into the same DaVinci Resolve project file. I will keep an eye out for alternative transparency export methods and will post a tutorial if I find a solution.

Best tutorial I've seen in a while. For those using vertical format: a 0.929 offset for the Y axis works neat
this is a great video. thanks for taking the time to explain every step. i look forward to seeing more from you !
My pleasure, @clyntonmann1725. Thank you for taking the time to comment.
Beautiful effect. Thanks, C0nti!
Thank you for the very kind words as always, @TisButAHandle. You're very welcome.

Many thanks for your nice comment, @q3adict0.
Not only crashed Davinci, it almost crashed my computer! Dunno what I did wrong but I dont see it, and my comp is buggy... Help!
Dope tut, is there anyways to add shadows to the confetti, such as adding a shadow to 3D shape? Thanks
