Absolutely loving this show and hoping we get another season. So cool to get a weekly episode of a cooking show I can enjoy as a vegan. It’s making my morning!
I love the idea that it's about veganism but the writing is less than stellar and the production quality is not good. Plus, why call these home cooks (at best) "chefs"? It needs to grow and get better, and I am here for it.
If this concept goes forward, she should be a regular judge on a panel of 2 or 3 with the occasional guest judge. The world needs more Catie. EDIT: and the world needs to know that non-vegans are also welcome to eat and enjoy vegan food!
The judge getting teary eyed when sending home the loser is *so* vegan, and I love it. That. Show. Is. Fucking. Great. And I love that the language isn't censored! That's a minor detail that matters to me!

This show is very well made,,,production is tight,,,Chad is a great host, the contestants are awesome,,great dishes, no belittling of one another,,,,,,I am hooked on this show!
So cool to see a vegan cooking show!! Hope to see it succeed. Can I suggest to maybe tone down the intensity of the background music a bit in future iterations it’s a little distracting from the dialogue and is a bit too dramatic at times. Otherwise this is awesome! ☺️
Yes, I totally agree, I had to turn on the subtitles because the background music was overpowering the dialogue. Hope more seasons will come, because this is a show I have been waiting for. I can finally see a cooking show full of passion and be inspired to make something similar myself. Do you post the recipes somewhere, I would love them :)

@@maxineb9598 probably because that's how most people act around people they don't know! less scripted shows are a lot like that, I think a camera being in everyone's face adds to it bc nobody wants to be the most hated one in the show

Amazing show, so happy to have this to watch. Unfortunately the music takes me out of it, it is so loud and overpowering during the critiques and conversational bits :/
The clapping takes me out of the show. I totally appreciate a vegan cooking show and I'm grateful for it, but to nitpick, and it's a cultural thing I think, I'm not accustomed to US media and I don't resonate with some things, like bringing in the money aspect and clapping.
this is a very emotional episode, you can tell the host is holding back his tears even. Wowwww! i want to eat all these delicious meals in all of the episodes
This show NEEDS more sponsors, it is far to good to not have more resources. 😄 Loved Catie as judge, they should pair up for next season (and have guest judges).
I love this show but the music is too loud when they are judging the dishes, it’s really off putting, but I watched it all because it’s the only vegan competition show available and it’s so nice to see it
This is a commercial sized kitchen but only has one or two blenders in it? Last time someone said they couldn't find a spatula? Talk about not very well equipped.
@@brainiergeckogaming1625t 3:38, he asked her if she just needed the motor and the lid, and she said yes…so I guess he assumed he would still have his sauce in the container part… I think personally (if I remembered) I would just pour out the contents on the blender in a bowl or something when I’m done since the equipment is shared. But when you’re in the moment, it probably doesn’t cross your mind to do that and that something like that incident would happen
This was so weird. He clearly says he’s done with the blender and she’s free to use it. So to me if you are done with something, you clear it out. Also, who uses just the motor and lid of something. What?
I'm liking the show a lot, my partner too! The music needs to go though, please and thank you. I think the Great British Bakeoff comment on episode 1 is spot on. Don't try to copy the cutthroat cooking shows, but the more gentle ones!
He literally said he was done with the blender but he wasn't? Were there a dozen lid-less blender jars that they all had access to? Bc otherwise I can't see how he would think a "blender" is just a base and lid.
1. Spice level being this large a factor is not an exclusive indicator of good taste profile in food. 2. Only one blender in a kitchen with this many chefs seems rather limiting. 3. Christian hogging the blender and being mad at Rhea when he didn’t empty it after he said he was finished; selfish. just a few my pocket cents.

Heat is not something that should be the make or break. Some people like spicy, some don't and what's spicy for one person is not for another.

Censorship of curse words shouldn't be an issue. Not everybody likes hearing vulgar language. You can talk without swearing. 🤷🏼♀️
