Worst case you can install windows on it if you prefer that interface
Great review, I also did the 10% off deal and everything said in this video is how I am feeling right now about the Stream deck! I'm trying out games that I bought 2-3 years ago and never touched. I'm learning I have a pretty fun backlog of games to get through. The only negative I had is that I wish the Steam Deck could stream Media or TV better. FYI The music audio at 8:30 was too loud lol

Only the 512 was in stock... ohh well i guess you win steam 😂 And just incase you didnt know the killswitch case has sd card storage in the stand so if you buy 3-4 1tb or 500gb sd cards and store them there then mount and unmount them if your not comfortable with opening for a bigger ssd. You could have one for emudeck roms one for coop games ect...
@Tech Tosh it's most likely be an emulated game Marvel ultimate alliance is definitely a game I miss playing so I'm definitely gonna emulate that game and more ps2 games and a couple wii games But besides emulation my first official game I'm gonna get on my steam deck is going to be gotham knights

your voice is really silent compared to every other sound in the video, I needed to turn up the volume to hear what u said and them u show gameplay and the sound gets too loud.
I’ve been thinking about buying this used.. I’ve send these go as low as $250 for the 512gb. I’d rather have the 64 gb but a that price point idk if it’s a steal or if I should turn to other sellers
Be careful who you buy from. There are scam sellers out there who will change your address and send a soccer shin guard or some other item. Don't buy from zero feedback sellers. Ask lot's of questions. If a deal is too good to be true, it probably is.
Yeah, be very suspicious if they are selling them that cheap. Even used they shouldn’t sell that cheap unless damaged. Good luck though, absolutely amazing device.
Hi mate, i just bought deck 1 month ago..But now asus going to launch Rog ally with better graphics and competitive price ..So i am planning to sell my deck..I dont know is my decision is right or not ..Should i go for Rog ally or continue with my deck
That's your decision. But the ROG Ally 99% chance it will bomb. Based on past experience, game companies which try to focus on hardware rather than software have failed. That's why Atari and Sega aren't household names anymore. Anyway you do what you want to. ROG looks like a very bad business decision to me.
Sheeesh you just got it a month ago.. I would ride it out as it’s still an amazing device for handheld/portable gaming. Also one of the key factors is the steam OS on the deck while still being able to dual boot windows for everything else. Can’t do that with the ROG as your on windows 11 only. But do you, don’t let us nerds tell you how to live your life.

You can upgrade the SSD inside the steam deck, it’ll only involve removing a couple screws really. Lots of guides floating around.

The 64Gb is good you can just buy a sd card there is literally no difference frfr and just upgrade later it’s a long term investment

@@TheMahayanist Windows drains batteries. It has so many background processes. That, and it will lack the specific optimizations that Steam OS has.
Will it take any usb c charge cable?
Yeah but the deck is up to 65w
If you use let's say a phone charger, that won't be strong enough to charge while gaming
The 64gb is the best option playing some Xbox 360 games
