Is a 2016 Subaru BRZ the BEST used sports car VALUE?

  • The BRZ, ScionFRS/Toyota 86 have been around since 2013. What that means there are tons of used examples on the market. The challenge is to find the right one for you. From wrecked ones, to heavily modified ones you need to take your time to find the right one. Let me show you why my wife Lori's Subaru BRZ might be the best used sports car value.

    This was really, really helpful, Joe! Been shopping around for a BRZ (considering a 2017 or even new 2020) and this video of yours is the best I’ve watched online about the topic.

      Depends on what you’re looking for, but I far prefer the BRZ.

    • @SilverScarletSpider
      @SilverScarletSpider 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Michael Ayala Biggest deciding factor is seats. Nissan 370Z will only have two seats. Subaru BRZ has four seats and can fit your friends, your children, or your parents in a tight situation. The BRZ is a much lighter car with better handling and more mpg, but doesn’t get the big V6 power engine of the Nissan

    • @sterlingroberts6240
      @sterlingroberts6240 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Michael Ayala running costs on the BRZ should be a fair bit lower, and it’s more controllable at the limit, meaning you’ll be less likely to wreck it when pushing hard(highly recommended). Alternatively, if you don’t plan to push it much, you can always put wider/softer tires, and benefit from almost never losing traction without specific intent. It’s under-tired from the factory to encourage controllable chassis rotation(oversteer), better fuel economy, tire wear, and road noise. The stock wheels will easily fit slightly wider tires(and of a softer compound).
      Let us know what you go with, and congrats of either acquisition! Thanks for helping to keep driving and sports cars relevant!

    Just looked BRZ's in my neighborhood (Florida) ... Sorry but no... '16s are 20K+, for a 26K car brand new?!? Meh!!... Even older '13's are 15K or more. There are a few for 10K or so, but they're BEAT ON, usually wrecked too... Does not seem BEST sports car VALUE to me (especially with the gutless power) If anything, seems a bit OVERPRICED...
