Please Note! You DO NOT need to download the Spitfire Audio App (separate library manager) anymore. This will just redirect you to the new LABS installer download. You can simply install and manage the sample packs directly in the LABS application now. Also, you need to establish an internet connection to search, filter and install libraries. There is an offline mode but LABS will need to re establish a connection to the internet at least once every 30 days for updates and to verify subscription status. I recommend connecting when needed and working offline when working in your daw.
For some reason, I don't get any .component or even .vst or .vst3 files when I download instrument packs. I had no issues downloading other plug-ins but this one just gives me .spitfire files and other weird file extensions :(
Hey there, are you downloading Labs from this page - labs.spitfireaudio.com/download? This is where you would get the Labs vsts/component for the plugin (which you can then load into your daw). The individual samples are downloaded in the Spitfire resource folder as .spitfire files to be loaded into the Labs plugin that you would pull up either standalone or in your daw.
I've used it in offline mode. But it looks like an internet connection is required for searching and installing libraries. Also, the application states that it will need to re establish a connection every 30 days to get the latest updates and to verify subscription status. Not a deal breaker for me but I can see how it would be a pain for many. I'd advise going online to download packs and then turn offline mode on and open up the daw.
I believe it's the same password for Labs and Spitfire Audio. I'm guessing you already tried that though. Maybe try reaching out to Spitfire Audio? Crazy it wouldn't be a simple process since users need to recover their passwords from time to time.

Perfect. Uninstalled a while ago and decided to reinstall and everything is different this time around. Thanks.
Anytime!
l was able to log into my Spitfire Audio account; however, I forgot my Labs password and there is no way for me to reset my Lab's password.
