    I love you man! Always great videos. I've had my CRF with the Comfort XL since '19. I'm 5'10" and got into some tough situations with rocks and washouts this week in WV. Started thinking about lowering the bike. Bam! JTY has a video.

    Great video. As always. Thinking to get this bike. Haven't seen any video for check valve clearance. just wondering if you can share how difficult it is. BTW future video about it would be awesome. Thanks

      It's not hard at all, but can take a little while. Last check at 5400 miles everything was fine. I'll do a vid as soon as I have to pull my tank off again. Thanks for watching!

      I am. It's definitely lower and you can feel it. It's not as squishy tho.

    Have you noticed a comfort difference on say a 8 hr ride ?

      The regular thickness is more comfortable than the extra low thickness. But either one or light years ahead of the stocks seat.

    I ordered the low they only had the black though I wanted the red like yours but I wasn't willing to wait for it to come back in stock

    Thanks for the video. I was wondering about the comfort level of the low seat? Is it still worth the investment over the regular height seat as far as comfort goes?

      So far, yes. But I have not taken a LONG ride on it yet. End of this month is the AZBDR so we'll see. Thanks for watching.

      @@ColinPopoviciu it is as tough and bulletproof as the regular one, but it is a bit harder.

      @@JohnTYoung Thanks for taking on the expense of both seats and giving feedback. I'm same height as you and have put a deposit down on a 22 450RL that I should pick up within a week. I knew I was going to get the comfort XL or the comfort low for the bike, but wasn't sure if the low would have the same comfort. I've owned CR250s where I basically ttip toe on it with both feet and I sat on the regular race 450 while at dealer and it was basically the same tip toe for both feet down.

    I can't and won't ever comment on the low as I'm 6 ft tall, but I can say to all those reading the Seat Concepts XL Seat is absolutely the first upgrade anyone should do to this bike. If you only do a single upgrade, do the seat with the Seat Concepts XL.

    I don’t think there is an “Comfort XL Low” offering from SC? All they have is the “Comfort Low”.

      When you select your color and material options on the XL, look for the low option in the drop down.

    Again nice comparison. Very helpful video..But it’s geting expensive? An other most have on the bike.
    You mentioned in the reckless 80 from mosko review the gap between the reckless and the seat. How those the low seat and the reckless 80 match? Is the seat not way to narrow? After you one’d the two seats- which one you have most on the bike?

      The regular is a tiny more comfy just because it has more padding. I haven't noticed any difference with the Reckless bags. It's only 3/4 of an inch or there abouts.

    There is nothing like seating high on a motorcycle and a lowering kit is a waste of money for my opinion. But sure everyone of us has different needs, have it well and use it in nice rides I wish...)

      @@JohnTYoung Agreed. I loved my 2004 KTM 625 SXC and it had more torque than a New Holland T7. Umm, not really. Anyway, all the torque in that bike was for not when it was so heavy and tall. Funny John said the Honda is fairly tall. I thought the KTM's 39 inch seat height was "tall." Short story too long, John's right. If you are going to do any real off-road riding like we do in Colorado, you need your feet down. If all you do is a forest service road that's recently been smoothed out and you call that off-road, ...

    I have same seat. So less foam, bit stiffer I’d assume, let me know. I’m same 5’9, 32 inseam. Feet same on ground. I’m more flat footed with my boots as opposed to runners. My bike sits a tad lower with more sag and a softer spring. I’m. Way lighter than you. Thanks for the review

    I’ve got a 450L haven’t done one mod to it yet love it just put 1000KM on it what would you recommend to be the must have mods the seat came to mind as the stock one is uncomfortable but I can live with it 😂

      The one I got has a slightly less grippy top than the original one, but I don't honestly notice much of a difference.

      My butt says, "No". It's a little thinner in the padding department and after 200 miles you will notice it.

      I was also wondering what you do for oil changes when your out o a week long trip if you have to change it every 600 miles?

      @@chris4853 No. It's not that bad. I like the Low well enough. As for oil, I've got an oil change video out there somewhere. I think if you watch one of the "Packing for a BDR" videos I explain my system. It works whether I''m on a BDR or in my driveway.
