Query- if I do A1-B1 from India and then if I want to do B2-C1 from a German Public University and then sit for Aufnahmeprufung, is that possible or I have to do it from a private language schools, which is obviously expensive. I tried looking for the info but couldn't find it anywhere.
You can obviously also do language course in Public uni. Many public uni offer such course, but have limited seat, and their fee are usual very cheap or may be no fee in some cases as well, but definitely cheaper than private. Some private may also offer decent rates. You can refer to DaaD website to look up for public language courses.

They have asked for all. But if you don't have for any reason then you can write a letter for same and put it in your set of documents. APS may ask ur college directly if that is the case or not.
Hello Rajat, I have all the necessary documents with me and also paid the APS fees online using Google Pay UPI while filling in the application form 4 days ago. But I have not received any e-mail or any notification on my account's dashboard on APS website stating that my account is Activated. All they have said is " Please note that accounts are getting activated manually by APS during office hours ". 1. So should I wait for my account to get Activated before sending the documents via courier or should I send them immediately and then as time passes, the account will get activated ?? 2. Admission letter from Uni should mention that you have apt langauge capability to attend the course, plus you should have MOI and plus good score in langauge subject from past exams. This some chance that MOI will work, else Visa officer will ask for IELTS based on his/her preference or mood.

Sir I am planning for bachelors in summer intake 2023, I am currently doing A1 German, My Counseller (free included in German levels) told me that I need to show TestAs (82.5% in 12th) in the visa appointment as my appointment will be after Nov 2022, so my question is that as Is TestAs📝 is waved off for summer intake only for appointments before January 2023?
You should apply for APS only after getting your provisional or final degree of bachelors, so that you can apply for masters. TestAS will be compulsory for all APS application after 1st Jan 2023.
Moi or language certificate are not needed for APS. If u have admission letter mentioning u have apt language skill for your course plus have moi plus have good score in language subject from past then some chance that visa officer may be ok with it, but it depend on them.
If your appointment at VFS center is done i.e you have submitted docs and done the biometric, then you don't need APS, its only for people who will get appointment in Nov or onwards.
Is this a case of private uni or private bachelors ? Processing time in such case specially for Berlin are 90+ days in many case. Keep following up with embassy, only they will tell progress.

Only they know what all methods they have access to. But most common are, sending emails to colleges, or Calling colleges, or College give them some portal to check using student roll numbers.

Yes this is strange. Maybe they expect students for summer sem to apply for aps before 1st Jan. But their website says, that post 1st Jan testAs will be needed. So if possible better start APS before 1st Jan in such case to avoid any risk or complication.

Yes they will. But idel is to put 1 side on 1 page. To reduce chance of manual error while your docs are scanned to be saved into their online system, because few scanner machine on scan 1 side at a time.

Yes. TestAs is waived off for summer 2023 sem if aps application is done before 1st Jan.

Yes they will. But idel is to put 1 side on 1 page. To reduce chance of manual error while your docs are scanned to be saved into their online system, because few scanner machine on scan 1 side at a time.

IELTS not compulsory for APS but mostly probably needed for Visa if language of Study is English. If you can get admission letter from Public uni saying you have all needed language capability for doing your course and you can back it with good english score in past exam plus moi then it may be waived, but still it depends on Visa officers.

As per my understanding. Embassy ne kahi IELTS compulsory mention nahi kia hai. In checklist, they have mentioned, ki agar student k pass university se admission letter nahi hai jime mention kia ho student has sufficient language skills to complete the course, then only student have to show a language certificate of language in which the course is.
To agar university apka language level accept krleti hai, be it basis on anything, like IELTS or TOEFL or PTE or DuoLingo or MOI or just interview, and mention in their official letter that you have sufficient language skills, then that letter itself should be enough as language proficiency proof.
So technically embassy ko koi aur proof ki jarurat nahi honi cahiye.
But agar you have not give any language test already, and have to give it for getting admission, then it's better to pick IELTS or TOEFL as these are the most popular English test, and Goethe for German.
Agar Embassy ko koi issue nahi hua, then wo bus apka admission letter k basis pe hi language proficiency proof accept krlenge, but agar Visa officer ki wish hui to wo apse IELTS/TOEFL (if English course) ya Goethe certificate (if German course) present krne k liye bhi bol skte hai, they have every right to do that.
For example there can be these possible scenarios -
Case 1 - Uni accepted PTE, gave admission letter mentioning sufficient English proficiency for course, Embassy is happy with it and doesn't ask for IELTS and issues Visa.
Case 2 - Uni accepted PTE, gave admission letter mentioning sufficient English proficiency for course, but Embassy is not happy with it for any reason (like candidate have low score in past, or his/her Uni is private or less reliable) then they will ask for IELTS or TOEFL separately.
Case 3 - Uni accept your language proficiency based on PTE or MOI or DuoLingo or any way but does not mention it on Admission letter that you have sufficient language skills needed for the course. Then you must present one of the certificate mentioned by Embassy on their checklist like IELTS / TOEFL for English or Goether for German.
I hope this clarifies things. Plus, this is just based on my best knowledge.
