Nice score on that repair. When you were describing the symptoms I thought it was going to need a new head gasket. Phew, glad it wasn’t that! Yes, those Hondas are good cars.
I just wanted to say thanks for the video. I had replaced my starter in my 04' CRV 8 months ago, and wouldn't you know it,.. I had to replace it again! This time, since I was a bit more familiar, I was able to do it a little quicker. However, I ended up getting the P-0661 code, and it was baffling me. Then I looked it up and saw your video about that little connector underneath. It ends up I didn't see it! I connected it and vouala! I cleared the light code and it stayed off! Can't thank you enough. It saved me time, a headache and some money too! Thanks again!
Those 2.4 liter Vtec engines are tough and provide good power for their size. Glad you found the problem, hope you can get it rectified without too much trouble.
Carbon build up. Engine carbon cleaner spray may clear it out. Back in my gear head days we crushed walnut shells down the throat of carburetor whilst engine was idling to clean out carbon😁
@@donvoll2580 Worked for us guys and our fathers before us. My father raced in NASCAR w/stock cars. Things not not much different except carburetors to fuel injection

Older model vehicles are being very good money now because the new junk is to high and can’t keep them running 😢😢😢
Keep any old vehicles you have 😊😊😊
