Still wish we got a lesser trim of the 200 here. sure 87 grand (AUD) is a lot but the US only gets what would be the Sahara trim at around 87,000 USD (113,300 AUD) and we don't get the costlier diesel or bigger fuel tank.
Patrick Rich you can import a bare bones 200 series without anything except for a rear and center difflocks and a manual transmission from Saudi Arabia, those cost about 45k us dollars

can you do a review of the new series 2, soon to be series 3 Y62 nissan patrol. current pricing makes the patrol quite a long way ahead of the cruiser based on inclusions

lexas 470 4wd v8 duel tanks lots of buttons for offroad auto though 190000km. 8000 my parents will sell it to me and i know its clean or should i get a turbo diesel pardo or turbo diesel landcruiser i have always believed that diesel is the way to go for road but i drive a ln107 turbo diesel now which is amazing but no a monster the 4wd will be mostly used on sand
Lol 2720 kg curb weight its really heavy !!! my currant 4wd is 1985 kgs its lockers are reactive not active , 1k per injector if you need to replace em on your diesel 200 series and pretty much super expensive to repair look at the price of replacing a starter motor its def not my cup of tea but all the toyota fans seem to love it ...

You won't get the reliability of the Land Cruiser, there are some guys out in Dubai that beat on these Land Cruisers daily several have brand new Patrols and say they are unreliable in comparison. May want to look into it first. A used Land Cruiser you can afford is still better than a lot of new vehicles on the market.

I would absolutely LOVE a v8 cruiser... just a putty about the bullshit price tag 🙁 yet everyone seems to have them. Makes me wonder wtf it is I’m doing wrong lol

I don't care what people say but the Land Cruiser is a superior vehicle than the Range Rover. Rovers lose value quickly while the LC retains value, Old LC's still sell for 10k-50k. They are bulletproof and built like tanks
I think the prado is alot more capable in comparison to the 200 series. The 200 series is so heavy!
Thats my point when i haven't bought my prado150... now im daily driving my lc200 .. and im offroading my fj....

Its has a huge market now that Patrol havent released anything with a diesel in it. Do you sell your left nut to have a car that will last 10yrs or buy a second hand 100 that will last 30!
The first 200's were released nearly 10 years ago and they're still going strong. They'd go for a while I think.

LMAO!!! I thought it is still too cheap. It is not designed to be afforded by everyone. Not everyone can afford the legendary LC, and LC is not for everyone.
There is some subtle and understated exclusivity in this brand, only real explorers understand. Obviously you are not one of them, so you can f off.
