The lithium reserve found in India is just the preliminary examination, what amount can be extracted viably is still a basic question. Hoping that extractable reserve also turns out in good quantity and that too without least possible harm to environment.

India doesn’t have any other materials to make lithium ion battery (anode cathode and electrolytes)
So it’s just white gold which can’t be used rn
China reaction is they didn't really concern about that.

Cathode is +charged particles
Whereas electrolyte is a element which can be used to speed process or slow process
In lithium ion batteries cathode mostly used is lithium cobalt oxide (or any other metal oxide )
And anode consits of lithium titanate
And most organic carbonates are electrolytes
