Finally a video that shows the type of gnarly firewood that I’m usually splitting solo.
Most everyone else’s videos show splitting straight grained rounds from towering poles.
Not the reality I have with twisted trees from briar filled overgrown fields and fence rows. Thanks.

Thanks for the video. That's a great splitter! I can see how 2-3 guys and/or a conveyor would show her full potential! Great idea tipping the IBC tote though. I'm going to try that.

We added the conveyor last fall and it definitely makes a huge difference🤙

Dig a low spot to put the tote next to the splitter. Then all the wood will fall into the tote. Or build a platform to raise the splitter.

That answered my thoughts since I am working by myself most of time , thanks!!

A conveyor would definitely be more productive, but that’s not bad with one guy. I definitely recommend getting a eastonmade huge time saver.

I think much the same could be said for most any splitter, the more hands on deck the faster you can keep them fed.
That's not easy wood to deal with you've got there and the splitter got through it fine.
I don't have that brand but Eastonmade is good quality.

Have your cutting edges flattened out? Were they sharp when new ?
Mine were 1/8" new, now some almost 1/4".... not happy

how do you figure 3/4 of a cord?

    • @theclimbingbrothers

Bin is a 32cubicfoot Facecord I got 3/4 in before I had to tip it over.

      More like 3/4 of a 1/3 of a cord, or a 1/4 cord.

You need help with your audio. Hint: learn about "tone".
