- Samsung has been the frontrunner ever since foldable phones became a thing, and as at 2024, the company has near enough mastered the foldable segment. So much so that despite being very similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 was still well received by consumers, So, It is likely that the next model in the series, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will also be a very good phone. We do however hope to see bigger changes on the next generation Fold this year, and all the leaks and rumors we've heard so far paints a very promising picture, but will that be enough to convince you to make the switch? They not gonna do much with the fold until Apple come out with thier fold.
True all wider fold r chinese version maybe exception is oneplus, maybe the 7 but i dont see the 6 being wider. Not until google updates their pixel to the sizes of oneplus xiaomi vivo height wide and their inner display as well. Until then samsung will sits on their hands once more

As a fold owner I can say if samsung puts a s pen it. I will not be a fold owner for much longer. They just need an option to have it with it or without it
My father had a fold 4 and it kept malfunctioning. Best Buy kept replacing it until he got mad and just got a regular s23 ultra
Same with my old fold 3. I got 3 replacements. After that. i got fed up with the fold. after that i got my s22 ultra. I used it of 2 years without any hiccups. Now i am using the honor magic v2. And it's a totally different beast. Best decision i ever made
Summary. Samsung's plans for a cheaper Galaxy Z Fold 6 have reportedly been scrapped due to multiple issues, including the prototype's overall thickness. The manufacturer will now focus on improving the standard Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip models, which are rumored to break cover on July 10, 2024

I do miss the S Pen but I got the Pixel Fold because of wider cover screen. I would love to return to Samsung but these changes seem insignificant to me. Samsung is stuck in a rut and won't listen to customer input.
I have no faith in samsung foldable 😂. After i got 3 replacements for my fold 3. I was using my s22 ultra. And it worked flawlessly for 2 years straight. Now i got Honor magic v2. It's a totally different beast and I am very happy with my samsung to honor switch 🙌
Yes HONOR, VIVO, XIAOMI, & HUAWEI are far more superior than SAMSUNG. I left them after the Z FOLD 4 and went to VIVO X FOLD SERIES which is another BEAST

SAMSUNG SUCKS because they keep bringing out the same crap and won't upgrade it. Their phones charge slowly while the others are far more superior. I LIKE VIVO, HUAWEI, XIAOMI & HONOR.
@genocequa I don't care about samsung it doesn't change the fact that vivo and huawei are literally the worst phone manufacturers. I don't believe you even used a vivo or a recent huawei if you think it's better. Huawei used to be my favorite brand now they are worthless.
Wider outter screen and upgraded camera and better battery or im not upgrading
Wider cover screen is confirmed, upgraded cameras will wait for next year, bigger battery is possible but not certain yet.
the cover screen is said to not be that much wider according to screen protector and case leaks for the phone. so, if you're looking for S24 width or wider, that doesn't appear to be happening this time around. but it is 3mm wider than Z Fold 5 cover screen.
So they just not gonna widen the outter screen huh... Just gonna add a stupid 1000pixel camera ...... Gotcha

No, not by much. only wider by 3 milimeters, which is 10 milimeters less than the Galaxy S24 width.

foldable phones are great devices but they need extra care.. if they don't implement water and dust proofing.. don't buy it.
Samsung foldable phones already has water proof. They say they're working on adding dust proof as well, so let's see if it'll make it to this year's offerings.

They might be the ones to have pioneered the beginning of foldables but they're the back runner now. Companies like Huawei, VIVO (my favorite), Xiaomi, One Plus & Honor have surpassed them. Samsung, try updating your cameras, charging speed and put the charging blocks in the box just to name a few things may help you get your mojo back. Watching this from my new VIVO X FOLD 3 PRO
Do any of them come with a stylus built In?
@@Acestarjaynope they don't but have stylus support just like the Samsung which lied about coming out with a built in stylus but never did. I left Samsung because of their broken promises & them coming out with the same type phone year after year. VIVO, XIAOMI, HONOR & HUAWEI are way more superior than SAMSUNG. They will never compare nor compete with these guys until they do better. If those other competitors were allowed to compete with Samsung in the USA, Samsung would fall..

Blah blah blah, same ole sh$t. If it can't have the same specs as the OnePlus open, then screw Samsung. While i miss my S pen, i dont miss it that much🥹
