Second that. If you go to the Canon page it always says that there is no compatible software avaible...I was going nuts... but this one helped. :)

Great video but I'm sick and tired of apps! When I select scanner, the only option is "get scanner app" how did this change? Last year I could scan with no issues now everything is messed up!

Not sure why but you need to download basic scanner app from microsoft in laptop or PC you have. Download Windows Scan App and it will work without any issues.

I lashed out cash for a modern Canon Pixma Printer - Scanner - Copier and was amazed that NO instruction on how to scan were given. What's the matter with Canon, they used to be much better, my old Canon machine was much easier to use and it was a breeze doing scanning ! !
