We couldn't get the Becherovka at Hi Time (they'll call us when they get it in...), so we substituted Alchermes (very cool liquor that sounds very similar to Becherovka -- very "Christmas in a glass"...). nixtamalized corn is what you use to make tortillas, so... of course it would remind you of tortillas! haha. Frosty goes to Hawaii is a brilliant name.

I made the Frosty. Holy schnikes is that a bad *ss cocktail! I used Cruzan SB instead of flor. What a banger! I recently scored 3 bottles of Breezeway Blend so looks like I’ll be making more of these. A definite hit at our pre Christmas fiesta. Muchas gracias señor mármol

Great stuff! Grapefruit juice means 'white' grapefruit as opposed to pink grapefruit as I watch the video. It would be nice if you could specify which kind of grapefruit as that makes quite the difference. Only a few shops sell the white ones where I am. Just reading the recipe, you wouldn't know. I don't think dry shake matters when using a whole egg only for egg whites
I can remember when dry shaking was still a "new" technique, that was even before double straining became an expected step.
