It is absolutely amazing that companies release free versions for people like me who absolutely LOVE this form of ART but do not have the resources to buy a full version or monthly payments.
Vray is highend. Especially the global illumination and the shadows are great. Vray is a quite old software with a lot of experience in rendering software. But D5 comes closer and closer. Vray does have more settings and great materials too. But you have to learn this software. Nothing happens with one click.
@@mango_wm Agree, Vray has passed the test of time and still being relevant and leading software in ArchViz. BUT you can tell there is a shift happening with New engines like Lumion, Twinmotion, Enscape, and D5.. These softwares take care of speed and learning curve. I still love V-ray even if it feels slow at times. But i'm more impressed with the direction we going with ray-tracing. Also I think Vray will adapt at some point...
