Hilda isn't a show to me anymore, its an experience. Every episode has an element of wonder that I havent felt since I was little, listening to funny bedtime stories. This show is linked with amazing memories and I couldn't be happier that I found it. I couldn't be more exited for season 2😊

Since I've started taking anti-depressants which ironically just make things I enjoy seem less gratifying and more dull, Hilda has been one of few joys in my life, as well as the fanbase. Everybody is so sweet. It's so wholesome that even the people who watch it are wholesome.
I love our little fandom. It’s not toxic, and you barely see any arguments. We all just gather to enjoy this amazing show together. It might be small, but this fandom in my opinion is one of the best :)

Admittedly, I didn't watch the show before like most people here, but I instead started watching the show after I saw the season 3 trailer, which was about a week ago. The best part is, I unknowingly managed to time my binging perfectly, so perfectly that I finished the movie right before season 3 premiered. I still don't know how I did that. Anyway, I still can't believe this show is over now. I actually want to rewatch it sometime soon (I like to space out my rewatches so everything is kind of fresh). Man, I just can't put into words how amazing this show is, and how it really means to me.

Then suddenly this show that I’ve only thought about maybe TWICE pops into my head, searched it up and read a little about it, and planned to start watching it that night. Lo and behold, THE NEXT DAY, the new special premieres on TH-cam along with the announcement that more episodes are coming this year in March. Idk how I do it LOL
I recently finished watching Hilda. I also started watching it around a couple of days before season 3 was released. I absolutely love the show and plan to rewatch it with my friends who I have recently introduced the show for them. I am pretty sure they are going to love it.
It is no exaggeration when I say that show saved me. It put sense of adventure and wonder back into my heart that got me out of my house even when I was at my lowest point with my depression. I love this show so much, and I think I always will
I'm nearly 60 now, and don't remember being as enchanted by a children's story since the C.S. Lewis Chronicles of Narnia since I was a child in the 60s. Hilda works on several levels. It's delightful. One one level, it's the story of a slightly headstrong young lady and her adventures. She's a great little heroine, but she isn't perfect -- she makes mistakes, she can disregard the feelings of those around her, particularly her mum, but she always does her best. On another level entirely, the plight of the trolls, for example, can be seen as the way we disregard nature and live ever further out of balance with her.

Besides being a beautiful song beautifully sung, it's got so much CHARACTER. This isn't just Bella singing it, it really is Hilda singing it, with the giggles and everything.
Hilda literally makes me want to go back to a child and live in the wilderness. I was going to be a pianist but now I think I should work in the Banff National Park and live there in a log cabin. I want to make a replica of Hilda’s magical world.

I can't even begin to put to words what this song is. It is the culmination of the very core of what Hilda actually is. She's a wild, kind, adventurous, girl who wants to see the world's wonders all herself. This show touches a small piece of the real magic around us, and I truly wish I could feel this way all the time.
Hilda was a show i did not intend to get addicted i watched it and instantly it was different. I love fiction and magical creature shows and it was so wholesome and the community isn't toxic.The fact its so underrated makes me sad but I can't say how much this show changed my life, Bella was the perfect choice for Hilda if anyone else was Hilda it wouldn't change me like the way Hilda did. I am so happy to have watched all 3 seasons and the movie. Just finished it recently on my birthday, and I only wish I found this show sooner. I also wish more people would find this and give it a try. It's more than just a show. It is an adventure that takes you on a wild and unforgettable ride. One of my most favorite moments is when Hilda first met Alfur. Even though at the time the elves were not being so polite with Hilda and Johanna, Hilda still tried to reason with them. She really does roam through the wilderness and befriends any soul. So yeah. I highly recommend watching Hilda. And reading the books as well. I have only one at the time of writing this, but I hope one day I get to read them all.

Same. I think season 2 really tried thier hardest to make you tear up. Spoilers from this point onward. Seriously, the grounded scene, with the song in the credits, The ending of the season, (no not the tease for the movie) the scene before that. And of course, The Deerfox. Probably the best episode of the series yet. Even when compared to season one. Whether it was the idea of Twig being lost forever, the ending, or even seeing Hilda, Joanna, and Twig from the past made me tear up a bit! (I swear I dont cry this easily) just seeing them from the past was so cool, esspesially as a longtime fan.
They need to bring back quality shows in animation, hilda has been one of the only shows relatively recently that has good animation, style, story, and world building and it doesnt feel like its talking down to its viewers, i babysit my little cousins every now and then, and this is one of the few shows that i can also enjoy watching with them, other shows they watch are either just average cookie cutter kid shows or the few good ones are shows i watched growing up, like avatar the last airbender and gravity falls, shows that are for kids yet are still enjoyable to anyone of any age, like very few shows these days are enjoyable to all ages.
I'm not ready for the show to be over after 3 season. I want to join Hilda and everyone else for more adventures. But only if the creature's heart is in it.
I wondered what this song I found was, but I was really surprised when I understood its meaning. It is, in short, what life is like for Hilda. Hilda is not a random, boring program, and it is not a cartoon program for children. It is much bigger than that. It is like a treasure that I found by chance, and I believe that I found it at the right time. Hilda made me rethink my life, not in a complicated way, but with the eyes of a child. I wish the show didn't end, discovered it far too late, watching it feels like nostalgia for a memory I don't have. Hilda's move to the city from the wilderness feels a lot like my own move, but her city is filled with wonder, encouraging me to look for that in my own. I can't describe the feeling I had when this song played during the credits of an episode (I can't remember which one it is). It was also a strange feeling, because I have never seen a show where they play a song longer than the credits, and just stay on the black screen until the song ends. That was just a surreal experience.
I normally get bored of shows after like 4 episodes but hilda just made me so happy i binged watched every episode, I have always loved camping and being out in the forest but sadly my family doesn’t ever go camping anymore I miss it so much. I have always longed to go on a huge adventure ever since I was little, hilda made remember why I wanted to explore so badly, I want to see new things and free make new friends that would gladly follow me into the unknown to have some fun and just see what’s out in the world. I can’t wait for season 3 this show is everything to me
This song played out after episode 7, on Season 2. I don't know whether it play every single time or not, but I only recognize it at that episode and I can't help but feel it so fitting... Considering what happened in that episode.
This show made me cry. It's so beautiful. It's so well made. It's just amazing how they were able to make this. I haven't read the books yet, so I don't know if the episodes are based off the books, It takes a long time between seasons but I think it's worth it for how good this show is, I can't wait until/if they make a season 3 :) Cheers, Clayton
Season 3 is over. I'm glad I got to see this amazing show. I feel like there so many more amazing tails to tell. And it hard to find a slice of life fantastic show. No hiding all the fantastic stuff behind a secret world, no super heroes, no saving the whole world. Though I feel more stories are yet to be told. What that thing from the forgotten lake is up to. how would the sparrow scouts react to Hilda talking to a troll? What is Erik up to after stepping down? What job will Hilda's dad get? What happens when Trolls and Witches butt heads? Was there someone visiting from anther world who didn't get to go home when that interdenominational tree burned down? Will the Fairy Isle be okay when that thing dies? I want to see Hilda and her dad interact during the trolls entering the city to get close to their mom. And that just off the top of my head.
I WISH i could live in the world of Hilda i'm VERY new to the series and i am absolutely LOVING every episode. almost done with season 2 and this series is just SO whimsical it's like the beautiful serene worlds of Studio Ghibli movies like Totoro or Kiki I LOVE it.
I’ve been a fan of Hilda since Season 1. This show honestly got me through life and I’m truly happy I’ve discovered it. When season 2 came out, I was so hyped. But, my mom cancelled my Netflix subscription. I haven’t heard of Hilda since May. I didn’t even know the movie came out, and when I knew, I genuinely felt so comforted that it came out on my birthday! (December 30th) Hilda has been an experience for me and I honestly loved it so much I’m so glad I got back into Hilda. Thank you so much. Everybody in there is so talented and I truly love this.

Oftentimes I find it hard to bother myself with watching something outside of what I'm already interested in. However, my Netflix subscription was getting close to expiring, so I figured I'd give this show a shot. As you might imagine, I wouldn't be here if I wasn't glad that I did.

Hilda was a show i did not intend to get addicted i watched it and instantly it was different. I love fiction and magical creature shows and it was so wholesome and the community isn't toxic.The fact its so underrated makes me sad but I can't say how much this show changed my life, Bella was the perfect choice for Hilda if anyone else was Hilda it wouldn't change me like the way Hilda did. Thank you so much Luke for creating this honorary show i cant thank you enough.
I am so happy to have watched all 3 seasons and the movie. Just finished it recently on my birthday, and I only wish I found this show sooner. I also wish more people would find this and give it a try. It's more than just a show. It is an adventure that takes you on a wild and unforgettable ride. One of my most favorite moments is when Hilda first met Alfur. Even though at the time the elves were not being so polite with Hilda and Johanna, Hilda still tried to reason with them. She really does roam through the wilderness and befriends any soul.
So yeah. I highly recommend watching Hilda. And reading the books as well. I have only one at the time of writing this, but I hope one day I get to read them all.

Seriously, the grounded scene, with the song in the credits, The ending of the season, (no not the tease for the movie) the scene before that. And of course, The Deerfox. Probably the best episode of the series yet. Even when compared to season one. Whether it was the idea of Twig being lost forever, the ending, or even seeing Hilda, Joanna, and Twig from the past made me tear up a bit! (I swear I dont cry this easily) just seeing them from the past was so cool, esspesially as a longtime fan.

They need to bring back quality shows in animation, hilda has been one of the only shows relatively recently that has good animation, style, story, and world building and it doesnt feel like its talking down to its viewers, i babysit my little cousins every now and then, and this is one of the few shows that i can also enjoy watching with them, other shows they watch are either just average cookie cutter kid shows or the few good ones are shows i watched growing up, like avatar the last airbender and gravity falls, shows that are for kids yet are still enjoyable to anyone of any age, like very few shows these days are enjoyable to all ages.

I wondered what this song I found was, but I was really surprised when I understood its meaning. It is, in short, what life is like for Hilda. Hilda is not a random, boring program, and it is not a cartoon program for children. It is much bigger than that. It is like a treasure that I found by chance, and I believe that I found it at the right time. Hilda made me rethink my life, not in a complicated way, but with the eyes of a child. Every episode I watch, I learn many valuable lessons that I have not learned anywhere else. Thank you, Hilda, and thank you to everyone who contributed to the production of this valuable series.
I wish the show didn't end, discovered it far too late, watching it feels like nostalgia for a memory I don't have.
Hilda's move to the city from the wilderness feels a lot like my own move, but her city is filled with wonder, encouraging me to look for that in my own. Thank you to the fantastic people who made this show a reality.

Hilda IS a truly beautiful show. And with heroes like her, the world is wonderful to live. The nature is filled with beauty. Like her. The world is for her to roam. After all, our lives were never as wonderful as hers. Wasn't it?
I can't describe the feeling I had when this song played during the credits of an episode (I can't remember which one it is). It was also a strange feeling, because I have never seen a show where they play a song longer than the credits, and just stay on the black screen until the song ends. That was just a surreal experience.
I normally get bored of shows after like 4 episodes but hilda just made me so happy i binged watched every episode, I have always loved camping and being out in the forest but sadly my family doesn’t ever go camping anymore I miss it so much. I have always longed to go on a huge adventure ever since I was little, hilda made remember why I wanted to explore so badly, I want to see new things and free make new friends that would gladly follow me into the unknown to have some fun and just see what’s out in the world. I can’t wait for season 3 this show is everything to me

This show made me cry. It's so beautiful. It's so well made. It's just amazing how they were able to make this. I haven't read the books yet, so I don't know if the episodes are based off the books, It takes a long time between seasons but I think it's worth it for how good this show is, I can't wait until/if they make a season 3 :)

Today watched ep 8 and I actually teared up, beautiful episode, beautiful show.
Season 3 is over. I'm glad I got to see this amazing show. I feel like there so many more amazing tails to tell. And it hard to find a slice of life fantastic show. No hiding all the fantastic stuff behind a secret world, no super heroes, no saving the whole world. Though I feel more stories are yet to be told. What that thing from the forgotten lake is up to. how would the sparrow scouts react to Hilda talking to a troll? What is Erik up to after stepping down? What job will Hilda's dad get? What happens when Trolls and Witches butt heads? Was there someone visiting from anther world who didn't get to go home when that interdenominational tree burned down? Will the Fairy Isle be okay when that thing dies? I want to see Hilda and her dad interact during the trolls entering the city to get close to their mom.
And that just off the top of my head.
I WISH i could live in the world of Hilda i'm VERY new to the series and i am absolutely LOVING every episode. almost done with season 2 and this series is just SO whimsical it's like the beautiful serene worlds of Studio Ghibli movies like Totoro or Kiki I LOVE it.

I’ve been a fan of Hilda since Season 1. This show honestly got me through life and I’m truly happy I’ve discovered it. When season 2 came out, I was so hyped. But, my mom cancelled my Netflix subscription. I haven’t heard of Hilda since May. I didn’t even know the movie came out, and when I knew, I genuinely felt so comforted that it came out on my birthday! (December 30th) Hilda has been an experience for me and I honestly loved it so much I’m so glad I got back into Hilda. Thank you so much. Everybody in there is so talented and I truly love this.
I'm excited to hear her sing as Ellie in the future seasons ✨✨✨

Oftentimes I find it hard to bother myself with watching something outside of what I'm already interested in. However, my Netflix subscription was getting close to expiring, so I figured I'd give this show a shot. As you might imagine, I wouldn't be here if I wasn't glad that I did.
I wish I'd had a show like hilda when I was little, I'm really happy animation is finnally at a point where it can tell beautiful stories like this now

Hilda and her mum are my comfort characters. They are so kind, fun and gentle. I was crying when my google search said season three will probably be in 2022 :(
