- Hi, we are Bec, Sam, Isabella & Euan. After selling our house in the UK & travelling Europe in a motorhome for 10 months, we have bought a derelict stone cottage in Ireland. We are keen to try and live an off grid life, free from debt whilst bringing the farm back to its former glory. We are doing this on a very tight budget and plan on doing the work ourselves.

Loved Toby's zoombie's and your dog running to Toby, then the chicken and rabbits how sweet is that. Toby is very happy now and all the animals look so content, thanks to you, Sam and the children such kind people. Sam is so excited about the roof trusses arriving, I just love it and Bec when you showed the barn what it looked like and seeing it now getting ready for the trusses just blows me away, with all the beautiful pointing and Sam lintels and ring beams it has a whole different look. Yet another step forward for the intrepid team.. Start with the drains because that's where the trouble would be and you nailed it to the plans. The roof trusses look great but cover them up as quickly as you can . be safe and crack on

When you were talking -7 weather I thought it cute lol. I live in northern BC Canada and we can get to -50 but when you've never experienced it -7 can be very cold too. :) You have great views of the Ireland around you and once your flower garden is done you can sit out there with your beverage of choice and enjoy the views.Your workers and visitors are awesome. :) :)
Folks from Ireland and the UK must really suffer when they visit us, they have such a mild climate there.
I cannot wait to sit in the sun with a glass of champagne and toast the house. Will we ever get there?! 🍀
