Trying to hang on in a race where we're clearly slower than those around us . . .

We're back on LFM today with action from a split 1 MX5 Cup race at Brands Hatch. Having raced here not too long ago, the track is still fresh in the mind, so when I jumped into this split 2 race, I was quite hopeful of a good result. However, looking at the cars around me, they're all quicker than I am. Will I be able to hang on and stand my ground against these faster driver, or will we be swallowed up and left for dust?
