Double green finish is not to be sniffed at Nick. You were doing well till you started to watch the mirrors then it sort of messed your head up a bit. Getting better though so that's a bonus.

It's crazy to close the gap to the cars in front in multi class. It's just asking for throuble. Not too bad a result in the end Nick.

He has room and has commited to inside so needs to accept a tighter entry, you dont need to give any more room than he has . Its often easy to think you are further past than ypu actually are. Sounds like a decent chap though!

We should do a group hosted session and all practice some hard, no consequence racing! Would be a good laugh i think.

Great points Nick. I try and get a few races a week in and each season i say i will branch out a little more. But work and family mean that i have to take the chances i can. I dont like to race when i am not prepared. If i lose points thats ok but i dont want to impact other drivers races - it could be their only chance that week also. Dont be too concerned with people with bigger irating - not everyone has 3 hours plus per day free time to grind. And its a lot easier to lose 100 IR than gain it with a few bad choices or rushing into a race that you are not prepared for. I appreciate the people that treat the sim and others with the respect due and do prepare for a race where possible. And it doesnt really get better with stronger fields - it can be worse!

I know exctly how you feel Nick. I find I am more aggressive against the AI that other players and believe it's because I don't want to ruin someone's race. I think a lot of people have a different mind set and don't mind if they crash other people out so long as they get the position. A lot of the high rated drivers you will find exclusively race one car which obviously makes them very good in that car and helps them gain IR. My main problem is my age as my reactions and descision making isn't as fast as it once was so I tend to keep my distance from the car in front and lose any oppoutunity for a surprise move.

Unfortunate Nick. He certainly drifted across towards you and at the time you were also slowly drifting towards the outside, so he didn't leave enough racing room for you. These sorts of things happen in the heat of battle unfortunately. At the end of the day non of us are professional racing drivers and we are always learning.

You wasn't wrong about it being interesting Nick.. very enjoyable watch when the gloves where out. But it all was sorted in the end and Chris could have just left the game, He did apologise good on him for that even though you where in the right mate.

Glad Chris apologised as you did nothing wrong. His excuse being that he couldn't see you is no excuse at all. It's why you have a spotter, and are forced to map buttons to look left and right. He hopefully learned a few lessons here today.

Well done Nick. Nice steady consistent laps paid off. I think the ragged bit was because you were busy checking the relative and just lost your concentration a bit.

Now you see him now you don't its not good when we have a blinker in a race, nice racing mate, we all like double green 👍bit of observation you might need to turn your ffb down a bit it was clipping a bit at certain points of your race.

I was in the bottom split for this race and damn it was about the most fun I've ever had in my life. I chose to start from the pits to avoid drama in the opening laps. Only Toyotas and Mazdas in our split so that simplified things a lot. Wet track at the start but it dried off after about 30 min. I think I got spun by a backmarker about an hour in but the car was ok. We were 10th at about halfway and my codriver went off trying to get around a slower car. We needed 3 minutes for optional repairs so we went down to 12th but I was able to get those spots back after I took over. No more incidents just keeping pace with the cars ahead of us. We took one more stop than we needed to but I didn't want to push my codriver too much. I took the final 25 minutes to make it a proper PCC and on the last lap I caught up to two crashed cars in the pits and finished 8th. 🎉 Looking forward to watching this whole video

This is a fun car that does take a bit of getting used to. If I remember rightly I always start the car with the same method I do with the Porsche Super Cars. Full brake, 1st gear, full throttle then release the brake. Maybe not the outright fastest ways but should get a good start every time.

You did fine to say you were in a new car Nick. The Radical is a tricky little thing to drive but you seem to have got to grips with it fairly quickly.

Well done Nick that was great racing for the first race in the F3. The incident was definitely netcode and I doubt there would have been contact otherwise. Yes the track is cambered and the lower cars do catch the underside on the crest, so keep away from the middle of the road. Now if I were to say to you that you had to go back to the desk and swivel chair and your original pedals, what would you say to me? I think I can guess that it would be a 2 word answer and the second word would be OFF! 😆

Great result, this track is far more tricky in these cars than I was expecting.

What can I say mate well done podium finish first race I like the Dallara F3 did a race end of last season at Monza first race with it for a long time enjoyed driving it again, I would have done this race but not got this track
