With regards the course; I am going to list the things that have changed for me since I did it: I cleared my wardrobe of clothes that were size 10, I size I had not been for more than 20 years. I stopped feeling guilty about browsing in a shop and not buying anything. I felt empowered to say, No , I'm not going to buy this item because the colour is wrong in me, or the style doesn't suit me, or I didn't come here to buy something like that. I've bought much less and bought the right things, things that I've worn over and over and combined with everything else. I've felt less guilty about investing in good quality items. Genuinely everything I've bought since the course I love, I wear and I know I will probably wear forever. I get so much more joy from clothes, and I have found a couple of sylhouettes/ outfits that simply work- every time I'm wearing them I think "Sarah Ryan would be so proud of me!" With regards Pinterest, I browse, but never end up marking down anything on boards...I'm such a non digital girl!
My favorite clearance find this year was a black/white/silvery leopard print tie-front cardigan. Perfect for my winter self. Thanks for affirming! And I most recently used Pinterest after being in a personal slump and not keeping up with fashion for a few years. I just started adding looks I liked and ultimately turned it into a shopping list in conjunction with my colors (I'd gotten draped in the meantime.). Then I overhauled my wardrobe. :)
Thanks for not putting any snake picture. I'm so terribly scared of them than I can't even wear a snake print fabric. In general, I find the animal print a little bit intimidanting and difficult to wear. I tend towars a more romantic style, I guess I would love to know your thoughts about other prints: flowers, stripes, argyle, abstract patterns. With your eye for color I'm sure you have lots of interesting tips!
Hi Sarah - that was really interesting and fun! I'm a summer and I never wear animal print or never gravitate towards it. I do have a belt in leopard print belt however, but sometimes I feel loath to wear that even, (shades of Bet Lynch in Corrie!) I follow Trinny too and I know she's a great advocate for leopard. Very well explained video thank you. Might have a look out for snakeskin print in loafers or a belt.
I have my leopard print moments and I’m dark autumn. I have it in tops, a skirt, and as accessories. It’s the easiest way for me to wear bold styles without overwhelming my soft coloring
I went through a phase of wearing lots of animal print a few years ago, but have slightly gone off it now (probably wore it too much!). Still, the lightweight summer trousers in jersey or cotton and the tee shirts, get worn as interesting pyjama combinations. I often "recycle" day time clothes this way, get more wear out of them and very rarely buy any special nightwear. Sometimes I have also worn nightwear as daywear (yes really) as in a lovely nightdress (I never wear nightdresses in bed) worn as a daytime or even evening wear.
What about winters with light hair. I saw that you've analyzed a blonde girl as a bright winter... Would you recommend the zebra pattern with the strongest brightest contrast to her?
I used to wear leopard or cheetah prints, with a healthy dose of black against my face. Once I ventured into zebra prints with a bold black and white contrast, I found they worked best for me. But, I usually wear solids colors vs prints of any kind.
I'm not 100% sure about my season, but I know I'm cool-toned. I like animal prints, camouflage pattern and similar patterns. I own a zebra print t-shirt that is like dark purple-brown and soft white. I like it on me

Hi Sarah! Have you ever addressed choosing the best hair color for your season? I’m challenged these days! Thanks!
Not yet! Great suggestion though. Watch this space! ☺️
With the cooler prints I was fooled by which would suit which of the cool seasons. I have a lot to learn!
There’s endless variations and subtleties so be patient with yourself as you learn ☺️

🤣 I totally get the Corrie reference! I think leopard print can look cheap and look expensive. It’s all about how you complete the look. ☺️

Yes I think it could work!
Soft summer here, on the lookout for grey python print loafers for Aussie winter.
Ooh perfect! Hope you find them!
I have 2 leopard prints with warm soft colours and i enjoy them some time to time , i might love flower prints more 😊
Wonderful! Also love a floral print 🌸
What would you say about Tiger print? Since black is always cool and orange is always warm.
Deep autumn can also wear black and with the help of orange makes it look even better ☺️
I like using Pinterest for hidden travel gems, food inspo and even interior design inspiration.
Food inspo is a great one but I think it would make me hungry all the time 😅
I believe I am bright winter and I absolutely love zebra print and I love colorful animal print.
Love that! I bet it looks great on you!
Thanks
Thanks for your ongoing support Maria! Always greatly appreciated 💜
Rattlesnakes in Arizona tend to have patterns in tans and greens.
Oh there’s a million types of snakeskin!

Ooh sounds lovely! Are you a bright winter?
@@sarahryanthestylecoach Not sure about my subgroup. I can wear bright and deep colors.
