Since Eugene and Lance were never convicted of any crimes (as Lance mentioned) but Varian has, Cass may have been calling Eugene and Lance the losers and Varian the ex convict
I mean if you look at what season 3 tried to make the 'main cast', you've got Eugene and Lance, worldwide infamous crooks, Varian, who was arrested for the s1 stuff, and the Twins, again both infamous crooks. Who Cass was referring to is anyone's guess though because at this point she has no way of knowing that Raps is close to Varian and the Twins again.
@@onceuponahair20 I mean yeah but what I meant is that her storming the castle is her first time in civilization since the Dark Kingdom, and its not like there's gonna be posters or something saying that random guy Varian is not a threat anymore, so she really does have no way of knowing. I prefer it though because I always took her first reencounter with Varian not as she knew, just that she wasn't surprised which means more.
I remember the first time I once saw the first episode of the series. But I didn't see Cassandra. And now I decided to watch this show 'cause I wanted to know more about this new character. And she is AWESOME! Cassandra was the first character I noticed when I started watching the series! 😀😃🥰♥💗💖
Eden is the best Cassandra ever she brought Cass friendly and brave side out perfectly but also did an incredible job showing the villain side to her. Cass was a cool villain but i'm just happy they got back together with Rapunzel beacause Cass does care about her and would never hurt her. Sure she did wrong taking the moonstone but she was beeing used and was even trapped in that situation by Zhan Tiri when she was trying to apoligize and save Rapunzel. She also sacrafised her life for Rapunzel they became besties and nothing could ever seperate them or stop them for beeing together. Just happy we got the real Cass back she deserves her own series❤❤❤❤
I wonder what Varian would have done with the stone, as he aspires to be a scientist. A partnership between him and Zhan Tiri would have been interesting.
the performance and look of cassandra was stellar, i just think her character took a nose dive when she took the moonstone. one, it should have killed her, two, betraying rapunzel just cause you found out you had a mom that DIDN'T CARE about you that KIDNAPPED rapunzel is just... dumb. also, HOW DID GOTHEL EVEN HAVE A KID?
Yeahhh There were so many ways to handle it but they managed to make her seem like an aimless idiot I have plenty of things to say about how her characterization went down but i don't feel like typing it lol
Alright I don't like this argument. Basically any other argument about Cass's villain arc and why it failed I'm down for, but the "Why does Cassandra blame Rapunzel for a mom that didn't even love her kidnapped Rapunzel and left her??" argument is...dumb, I'm sorry. That's NOT how abuse works. Cass was a child, and abused kids (and even adults!) don't see nor care about the logical reality that their parents don't care for them. They just want to be loved. Like what, you think 4 year old Cassandra was going to have the emotional maturity to realize she dodged a bullet? No! Whether Gothel cared for her or not, it hurt, it hurt that she didn't care. It hurt that she left her. Cass would've been an orphan all alone like Eugene if the guards hadn't found her. And honestly, when you're hurt and traumatized, those feelings of that abuse still haunt you well into your adulthood. Cass shouldn't have blamed Rapunzel, because Rapunzel was also a child and was indeed kidnapped and abused by Gothel herself, but I can't exact blame Cass or being angry and hurt and betrayed about it. That anger is misplaced but like, c'mon, I dare you to be able to mentally take your mother left you to take another child because she had what she needed and you didn't. Rapunzel did nothing wrong. But guess what? Flawed characters and especially abused characters don't act logically sometimes. They react to emotional triggers of that abuse.
@@misfits9294 cass didn't even know gothel was her mom until a flashback was shown. she spent most of her life being raised by the captain of the guards, the only parent she knew. and she must have heard at some point that gothel kidnapped and abused rapunzel for her hair, so why would she want her as a mom in the first place?
Funfact, if any of the characters of my choice based games sang "Nothing left to lose", they'd sing Cassandra's part. I wonder what that says about me. I admit my moral compass doesn't come automatically to me. I have to think things through for it to make sense to me.
"Cassandra be like" you took my mother away from me "Rapunzel" I'm sorry that old hag kidnapped me because my hair was her life source its all my fault 😔
unpopular opinion: yall can hate,I love Cassandra,I think she should paid for her crimes👍I know it's not her fault its zhan thiri fault, but she's was a grow ass adult who can think for herself, she did things worse than varian and he was in the prison 1 CANON YEAR(his arrest is fair ok? I'm not defending his actions) AND CASSANDRA AFTER ALL SHE DID JUST BC SHE'S IS RAPUNZEL BEST FRIEND SHE LIVES FREE LIKE NOTHING WAS HAPPENED
EXACTLY also i get varian should get punished for his crimes, but a prison sentence? for a 14 year old? in a cell with a grown man who just so happens to also be a fucking terrorist? that was stupid
@@onceuponahair20not only to mention that the justice system completely failed him when shown that he is most definitely mentally unstable, i mean, it only took raps hugging her parents for varian to completely snap, like he was literally orphaned when cass got upset because her horrible mother doesn’t want her, even though she had a pretty good dad, meanwhile varian was not only in a prison with adults at 14, but also locked with someone who no doubt manipulated him and the moment varian disobeyed had no second thoughts to drop him from an airship sorry for a paragraph, i love cass, i just hated how her villain arc was written
