The Boom Chuck Dilemma

In this lesson, we will learn what the boom chuck dilemma and how to deal with it!
The dilemma occurs when the 5th of the chord we are currently playing is the same note as the root of the next chord we are going to play.
For example, the 5th of C is G. If we are playing a C chord, on our way to G, we don’t want to play a G bass note during the C chord, but rather double the C note. Then, when we get to the G chord, the root note G will sound fresh!
