Regarding the steel cut oats, you can do them in the crockpot. You’re not gonna believe his measurements until you try it. 2 cups of steel cut oats to 8 cups of water and a dash of salt four hours on low and you will not believe how thick they are. You can add any other toppings before or after. I add walnuts, brown sugar, dried cranberries, or blueberries, and after cooking you can always dilute with more milk or almond milk/water. Like I said, you’re not gonna believe the ratio amount but you’ll pass this on to others.
I love sharing doable tips we can all incorporate into our every day lives that help us live younger, longer and better.

I am a writer and I have a problem with drinking water while I am writing. I get within my writing and forget everything
I’m not sure what you mean. Thank you for commenting.
Sorry I wasn't clear, I get so involved in writing that I don't drink enough water. Sometimes I even forget to eat.
What about walnut or peanut oil?
You might be right, but I am not sure.
You can use walnut as a finishing oil. I avoid peanuts as they are highly inflammatory.
