@@shadowsear1312 neither are all that hard. Hard mode rejuvenation has some fights that feel down right unfair and fun to actually win. But you're also facing AI, none of it is particularly hard unless you don't understand pokemon

Insurgence is the only Pokémon game, official or fan-made, that truly challenged me. I had to actually learn about stuff like IVs and EVs and how natures affect growth to survive this game. In the main series, if you just get decent type coverage, you can pretty much sweep the entire game. Here, I actually had to work for my victories! Heck, I still haven’t beaten the Elite Four!

When I did a delta’s only playthough, (I’ve done a lot of playthoughs, but most were randomized) I had two strategies that worked for pretty much every battle. Minimize delta Muk and Calm Mind Delta Venasaur with either mega stone or leftovers

Losing to Nyx 10 times was worth it because the music was so epic

Sandy Truong I swear this was the hardest battle ever in pokèmon for me I was so happy to have picked delta Charmander it destroyed that stupid mega
I beaten Nyx in like maybe 3rd or 4th try when my last Pokemon was a lvl 77 and he swept the rest of his team with Drain Punch & Close Combat (It was a Gallade)
i beat Nyx in Nuzlocke(0=Dead forever) Hard mode recently without losing a single Pokemon only because my delta snorlax could set-up vs megakaskhan with its massiv hp could survive 2 seismic toss (of course needed a lot of Hyperpotions to do (next is Elite Four and Champion)

@@hotdoggler that's not possible though, because vs Nyx came out before Beach Day - Emerald... if anything, they got it from Nyx, but it's more likely that music is just ultimately finite and it's a catchy riff that's not that hard to come by.
I found this battle more satisfying than any other battle in any Pokémon game only because electric is 4x effective against Ground and Dragon

Edit on what I had previously said about Nyx being in the "Giratina Group": Apparently, according to the replies on this comment here, it's been confirmed on the wiki that they call themselves the "Damned Cult." If I'm gonna be honest with you guys, I didn't actually know that there was a wiki on this game at first, but now I know thanks to you guys, and I really do appreciate you guys for letting me know! : ' )
But aside from that, yes Nyx is the leader of the Damned Cult. I'm sure you all know that by now though considering the game has been out for more than a year, so it's not my problem anymore if you're complaining about spoilers if the full game has been out since late 2017.

Actually the real name of the group is actually the Damned Cult, as mentioned in the wikia for the game. The Damned are of course not identifying as one, but just because they dont identify as one doesn't mean their actions + summoning giratina hasn't.

This theme. It played in my ears for about 3 hours over and over again. I had beaten Nyx after countless tries, but forgot to save. I failed the Giratins encounter, and has to restart. Took me another hour to beat her again.

i don't agree with you, i think the theme represents that Nyx is actually just a human, but because she was banned into the distortion world, the only thing she wants is come back in the real world, and that has made her kinda dark, but the calm loops sometimes make me think she is not evil at all

Nyx herself does a pretty good job laying it out, that this battle is between two opposite worlds. Each side sees their world as the correct "matter" world and the opposing world as the "antimatter" world. But objectively, neither side is more or less correct than the other. It's just an ultimate clash of the paragons to decide everything.

This song brings nostalgia because I used to listen to it when I played Azure Mines in roblox. I also was on my not hacked account at that time. I'm glad I found it again because it's a good song.
This theme is just so sad you're both fighting for the fate of your worlds. Nyx is doing what he has too so that his people survive, he feels rightful angry and betrayed by arceus, the setting, the stakes, everything about this theme and battle is just ahh so good. I will say though insurgence was easily one of the best pokemon fangames i've played, but it needed more themes like this, so many battles and even legendary battle themes had the generic gen 5 theme. Which is something I don't understand because p much everywhere else the game nails it as a pokemon fangame.

I worked at a summer camp this year. We had access to a gym and a large speaker so I would put music in while the kids played (usually dodgeball; They loved it). Anyway nine times out of ten I’d just put this on loop when I did.

dear god yes. so glad i decided to keep delta gardevoir around bc its frankly an amazing pokemon for this battle. it has stab super effective against 5 of her pokemon and can tank 1 or 2 hits before going down

This Battle was SOOOOO damn difficult, it took me like 15 attempts because my team didn't have enough type coverage. But I still loved it and Nyx. No hard feelings

I had a dream about a retelling of Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon where there was a new character who looked a lot like the player character except he had a cloak that was held together by a Cosmoem as a pin. He also used the Cosmoem to travel across Ultra Space and Alola. He commonly appeared throughout the story and seemed hostile towards the Ultra Recon Squad, calling them "Fake Heros" and "False Idols". You learn throught the journey that he originates from the "Ultra Ruins" dimension and the Ultra Reacon Squad failed to save his world from Guzzlord. The Cosmoem was the last living thing he could find in his broken home and keeps it on himself in hopes it may someday wake up. At the part of the game where you are about to fight Ultra Necrozma he appears and demands he see what "Messiah has come from these false gods". He used a team of Ultra Beast and this theme olayed during the battle against him. It was honestly awsome.

In this battle, I was thanking Arceus I had Gateau, or else I was fucked. Giga Impact is a godsend against Aurorus. I'd reccomend Lvl 90 all round and choice banding Gateau
