discussions about authentic paint colours never end, it takes up a lot of time and in the end it doesn't really matter after wheatering etc. It has to be close enough.
@@seanerk5kt9 yeah man, I've seen it going completly out of hand on armour models on forums. people arguing and buying dozens or mixing paint to try and get the exact authentic colour. The thing that opened my eyes that back then (ww2, etc.) they had different batches, which weren't exact either and after sun, rain, dust and battle they faded from their 'original' colour. It doesn't mean that you (in general) don't need to care, but if you get lost in the colours you might get discouraged in painting all together. So enjoy it.

Hi there Love your work Mind if I ask you a question about pricing of commission builds I have been asked to build a 1/32 tamiya spitfire for someone and have no idea how much to charge Cost is not a issue for the person but I also don't want to charge him for the 146hrs of work @for example $20 dollars per hour
Boy that’s a tough one. I started off selling some of my stuff on eBay which gave me a good idea of the true market value of my work. That really helped me determine what to charge on commissions. As far as per hour...I’m thinking I averaged $2 or $3 per hour for most builds. For a typical Tamiya 1/32, I would’ve charged $300-$400 plus shipping which doesn’t include the price of the kit. With all that said, it really comes down to a price you and the buyer are both happy with. Hope that helps.
Please don’t cause my wife to have a stroke. She watches your videos while I’m watching. She’s a crafter/artist and every time you say “MODGE PODGE” she nearly has a stroke. She request you please start saying the correct name. “MOD PODGE”. Love your channel!!!!
This one broke my heart. I loved all your previous paint jobs, but I can't say the same about this one. I know, that it is your interpretation of how F-35 look like, but I just don't see it. First of all - exhaust nozzle - why brass color? It is nothing like that in real life (I am not talking about pictures). Second - FS36170 - F-35 color is availabable from MRP and it's a good match. This metallic sheen, that you have used, does not cover RAM tape (what you did in lighter grey), so you should have paint it on while your masks ware still on. Btw - MRP also have Have Glass, stat gives this warm metallic sheen, so in my opinion it was an easier way to do it. I know, that F-35 color is unique, but new F-16s are also painted same colors, so it's not like it's paint for only one kit. That is all from my side. This is only my opinion. You should not worry about it. I just wanted to share it. Good luck. I will be waiting for your next build! Cheers!!
I’m actually happy with the color, but I do realize I didn’t capture the look of the have glass finish. This video might help someone else make the choice to buy the paint you’re referencing so not all is lost. As far as the copper color on the exhaust (not brass), I saw a few pics of them that color and I liked it better than the usual color. I have never seen one in real life so I only have pics to go by. I haven’t quite decided what I’ll do next but I’m guessing it will turn out better...hopefully;)

How long is that plastic rod you used for your stand?
How do you think which one is the best quality among Tamiya's and Meng's F35 in 48 scale by considering price?
I haven’t built Tamiyas but based on their recent releases of the 1/48 f-14, and F-4, I’d probably buy Tamiyas before I would the Meng kit.
MMP paints has a "Have Glass" paint.
Looks awesome!!. "Shove it in there" That is way too technical for the stand.
