Amazing craft room! I am in awe…I’ve been binge-watching craft organization videos all day and organizing my craft room all night while listening to craft room organization videos…
Thank you! I like to do the same when I’m cleaning and organizing, I watch videos doing the same and it inspires me. I’ll have a video of my new space ready to share in January 😊
Amazing Craft Room Space Girl! So glad I came across your channel got lots of organizational ideas from your Beautiful space. In the process of setting mine craft room after 9 years of everything being stored away in containers. Still looking for more stuff. I did find one of those old Rub On booklet you showed. For the past 8 years I took care 24/7 of my elderly parents in my new forever home. Now they’re both in heaven. In December of 2021 my sister passed away, six days later on the 28th my husband passed away too. Took me all of 2022 to cope especially my husband death. We had just celebrated 32 years of marriage on December 8th. We got married when he was 20. I Need to get back to what I love do which is scrapbooking and crafts. Thank you for sharing your space and all your tips. Blessings! 🤩🤩🤩
Hello, thank you for your kind words. What a blessing you must have been to your parents. I am so sorry for such great loss in your life. You must be so strong! I have found great comfort in scrapbooking. Focusing on telling their stories and remembering good times can really help you through the grieving process. I am glad to hear to are setting up your crafty space and taking this time for yourself.
Seeing this in 2024, similar situation myself, appreciate both perspectives on this being a good use of time to create a fun room as I call mine and for healing. Can’t run or backpack anymore and discovering card making has been the only indoor hobby I like, along with loving organizing and the challenges that brings in a small space. So fun to see how you re-purpose and get creative. Maybe all crafters love these tours? I certainly do. That statue of Mary makes me so happy! I have a small one in my room as well! Thanks for this video!
🎉WOW lady you are organized! Very handy. I bet it took awhile to get it that organized. I have a day off on Sunday I plan on diving in and trying my best to do a little at a time. And not give overwhelmed. I saw your other video about not getting overwhelmed and cleaning scrapbook room.
I really enjoyed your craft room. It’s the size of mine so that was extra special for me. What I love the most is your custom-made shelf above your desk. I’ve been wanting something similar to that forever!
Thank you so much! I actually just moved into a larger space that was my boy’s bedroom. I love that custom shelf so much I set up my work space the same way with the shelf running along my desk.
An idea for you… I put a magnetic sheet in the bottom of my plastic tray to keep the dies held by the magnet in the plastic tray. I have some really small ones that I was losing or dropping. Now I put them in the magnetic tray and it has been great.
You are very welcome, I hope this gave you some good organization ideas. I actually moved into a larger room in my home and will be sharing another craft room tour in January. This one has a window and I’m so excited to have natural daylight in my room.
We moved and I have taken the opportunity to rethink my craft room organization and color theme. It’s a much smaller space than I had before so it’s been a challenge. I had to replace my most favorite drafting style desk/work station. It was huge and very old solid wood piece. I literally teared up as left. I decided to with black and teal so when I came across the thumbnail for this video it caught my eye and boy am I happy it did. You have given me hope that I can make my happy place work and still keep all the supplies that made the cut for the move. Thank you so much!
I am sorry you had to leave your desk behind, we do get attached don’t we? It will be fun settling up a new space and I am glad the video tips were inspiring for your new smaller room.
Best Craft Room Tour video ever! I have a slightly bigger space but nowhere near the organization you have. Got lots of ideas but I am so lazy these days I don't expect I'll ever get the ideas implemented. Love all your videos!!
I appreciate you and your design team sharing your craft rooms. I realize yours is certainly a work of art and very well thought out. I like the storage you have for your stamps and dies, especially the wall storage where you can see them. Everything looks to be handy when you are working. Enjoyed watching along with the description of things. ❤️
Love your craftspace, and i love your Craft creations !i am so sad, that i can not purchase the collections from close to my heart, they do not shipping to germany. I am looking forward for new inspirational scrapbooking videos. Have a nice day, greetings from germany, Kerstin
Thank you so much. It always makes me sad to know CTMH isn't available for you. I am glad you are enjoying the videos and hope you can apply the ideas to your crafty stash. I do have an idea a few crafters from the UK have shared with me. Reach out via email and I may have a solution.
Great job for such a small area! Here's a suggestion for a storage problem. On your cart on the right side of the top shelf - if you put your happy journals, etc. so the spines are on top, they would be easier to get out and be relatively dust free.
I really love your organizing videos. I have a small space, about 8x9’ I think, with an angles door that makes everything harder. I also have too many hobbies. 😳 Stamping, scrapping, Cricut, sewing, embroidery… I need all the tips I can get for organizing! I’m so sad to see CTMH go-I hope you’re able to find a new home base. Maybe SU will add scrapbooking back to their line now.
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoy the organizing videos. It can be tough when you love all of the hobbies and need a space to organize your supplies. You sound like you are very talented in all things crafting. CTMH closing is incredibly sad and a tremendous loss. 😭
@@CraftyConceptswithErin I’m so sorry! It really breaks my heart for you all! Before I started my PhD I was going to scrap events hosted by a lovely CTMH gal-this was when they were doing a new CTMH Cricut cart every year-Artbooking I think was the last one I got. Good times. 😢
I have the storage case for brads. When zi got back into papercrafts I looked to see if I could get another one, but, alas I couldn’t. Great to see someone else with them. Loved the video. ❤
Those storage cases are amazing for all the little bits and pieces. I dropped one and cracked the corner, I was so sad I couldn’t replace it. I am glad you enjoyed the video.
My craft room is very similar to yours. It’s the nook in the master bedroom. I would say 10’x10’. With storage and a desk, it is very small. Love how yours is very organized, labeled and calming colors.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful craftroom with us. I too have been crafting for over 20 years and have accumulated so much. I would love it if you did a video, not so much on your organizational storage, but your systems on what to keep or throw out (like scraps), what you do with kits after you’ve made several layouts with them, and how you manage buying new tools (stamps, stencils, dies) and how you decide to part with old ones. Thanks in advance!!
Hi Sharon, I know how easy it is to accumulate a lot of supplies. I have donated items to local schools and senior centers in the past. There are also craft de-stash Facebook groups where you can pass along your unwanted items. I limit myself to the space I have, if it's full and I want something new something has to go. Some items are easy to put in the purge pile while some are not. I will keep those in a maybe pile and if I don't use it within a year I will pass it along. When I get a new paper collection I do my best to locate photos to coordinate and use up the papers. I will make cards with the scraps too.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful space! I have a bedroom size craft room which is jammed full. I’ve been scrapbooking for almost 20 years and I also make cards. I have accumulated so many things and I’m slowly going through everything to purge items I don’t use anymore. I love how most everything you have matches and coordinates well. I feel like I need to start over with my storage bins which are mismatched but don’t think I will. Getting to old now 😊
I feel your struggle. I just moved from a 14x 20 foot room that was stuffed with scrapbook supplies accumulated over 18 years. I reduced it by about 70% with the help of a friend. If I am lucky my next room might be 8 x 9🥴 as I am moving to a much smaller condo. Fingers crossed I can shove it all in. There may be another purge on the way. Best of luck to you. Downsizing can be quite the adventure.
Thank you! It sure is easy to accumulate all the things in this hobby isn't it? I did a good sized purge last year, it was hard but I felt so much better afterwards. All the organization evolved over time. It is funny, painting the shelves and adding the gray fabric bins was what really pulled the room together.
I'd love seeing an occasional video on your planning or bullet Journaling...I really enjoy your ideas and style, and I love seeing different ideas and techniques. I enjoy happy planner stickers but can only handle so many videos of the same sticker layouts, so I love incorporating my stamps and scrapbook supplies as well. Thanks for all of your videos and for some great storage ideas in this one!
Thank you, I am so glad you enjoy my crafty style. I like to use my stamps in my planners also. It is always nice to get more from your craft supplies.
I've really enjoyed watching your videos since I first found you and often wondered what your space was like. Thank you for sharing all the details of how you store and organize your supplies. I have a huge collection of Distress Oxides and keep them in the clear tiered nail polish organizers that match the acrylic drawers. I laughed when you opened the box with the rub ons because I have those same ones and just this weekend told my daughter I was ALMOST ready to donate them. Dave sure knows exactly what you are saying, for a moment there I thought he was going to start pulling out drawers for you while you filmed!! Will be sure to watch the other videos in the hop!
Hello Erin. Im so glad ive found you. I am really inspired by your craft room. Its functional and beautiful. I am downsizing this year and trying to work out how I'll fit all my scrapbooking stuff into a smaller 2nd bedroom. You have truly inspired me to purge and organise. Look forward to checking out all your videos down here in South Australia ❤
I made a lazy Susan for my oxides out of Dollar tree crates and clothes pins. I found a diy video on TH-cam and you can add layers. It would fit on top of your shelf. Also it has Velcro dots on the side for the the foam blender's.😊
It is called ink pad tower, if you want to look. It will hold most inks, like the distress inks, versa mark, jena k, ect. I made one for my inks, that is black and tan, steampunk style. Then one that is white and teal inside, for my oxides. Hope you will like it 😊
I love your small but mighty space. It looks like you've got a system to help keep you organized. In more recent years, I've begun adding/changing things to help keep things more organized. Although my craftroom is larger, it does double duty as my home office for our business. Because of this, I end up papercrafting seasonally nowadays. I love this room and it's where I tend to spend most of my time, when not in the kitchen or watching tv with hubby. It is right in the center of the house, off the living room and I can close my double doors when I need a little privacy, aka quiet time. P.S. Dave is AWESOME. He cracks me up.
Thanks for all the great ideas! You really did make use of every last inch of your space! I'll definitely be incorporating some of your ideas into my own craft room!
Erin, ur crafty space is gorgeous & well organized! I am a 23+ year paper crafter & I feel as I am getting older I may need light & bright. As I absolutely LOVE the black & clean lines, do u ever find it may be too dark at times? The reason I ask is bc I am in the process of moving & building a new 18'x12' craft room. Thanks for sharing ur unique style & ideas! Blessed crafting! 😊
Oooh your new room is a fabulous size, you can craft with friends! I do like light and bright and that is why I opted to paint the large main shelves white rather than black. The long shelf in front and small older wall unit are the only dark colors so it isn’t overwhelming. White is a great choice an you can bring in accents with storage bins and accessories.
I loved watching your in your crafty happy place. Some fabulous ideas for storage and how to keep organised. I need to attack my corner at some stage to get more organised.
Purging is tough! I have to say the idea of parting with something is harder than it actually being gone. I have yet to miss something once it goes. I understand the struggle though!
Hi Erin. Had not seen those C2MH paper keepers before. Very nice! For the beat storage that is not available anymore, there are similar items in the jewelry department of most box stores. To remember what to use (like those quotes) create a master check list of things to use so when you're designing, then you can check the list to see what you might have. Creative Blessings!
Erin, thank you so much for this super interesting tour. I don't see many really interesting ones, usually it's a parade of IKEA furniture and you could watch 20 of those videos and think that you were in the same room all 20 times 🤣 OK I don't want to be hypercritical but I enjoyed this tour immensely and took pages and pages of notes. Most of your solutions are very clever and I will use them in my room. which is in the making right now; it is difficult to understand how big (or small) the room is. Very cleverly done!
Thank you for your kind words! I am very glad you enjoyed touring my crafty space. It’s evolved over the past few years and I feel like I really have things fine tuned and that feels pretty good. How exciting to be working on your crafty space. I’m glad you found some helpful ideas here.
I'm so impressed how you were able to record the video while opening drawers! I have trouble just taking a good picture!!! I love your craft room and the organization. I picked up several ideas to store my dies and embellishments. Thanks for your craft room tour!
Thank you. It is fun to have the sheep barn history. When my husband and I started converting the barn into our home we had bottle goats in that room too. Fun memories!
I simply love your craft room Erin, simple and clean lined…not a busy look! I especially love your handmade card display on top of your acrylic containers on the top shelf!😉
I’m watching this video again because I enjoyed it so much the first time. I’ve found so many useful ideas for storage and I wish I could give you more than 1 like! Your system is great because you can get to whatever you need within easy reach and yes, I know, it’s not a large space , but I think it’s mainly because of the way you store things. It’s so well organised and I’m taking notes this time so I remember what you’ve used. Thanks so much for the work you put into making this video, I’ve really enjoyed it.💕
Wow thank you for your kind words! I am so glad you are enjoying the video and I hope you are able to implement some of the organizing solutions in your crafty space. Have a wonderful week!
I so love your craft space. I am in the process of moving to a much smaller room so I found your tips immensely helpful. I too have been crafting for a long time. It is tough to figure out what to keep and what to give away. I absolutely think holding onto your cropodile was a smart move.😁 Thanks for sharing such a thoughtful and well curated room. It gives me hope that I can create something as beautiful and practical in my small space.
Thank you and I am so glad you saw some inspiring ideas for your smaller space. It can be tough scaling down. I will go through and purge pulling things that are an easy decision. For the not so obvious items, I give myself a time limit and if I still haven't used it after said time it will go into the purge pile. I am sure I will put the cropodile to good use soon!
Thank you! I actually do have a video showing how I create stickers and use them in my planner if you'd like to check it out th-cam.com/video/kb43G57g-u8/w-d-xo.html
Oh my gosh! You have the MOST beautiful ginger hair color!!! I love it and it looks beautiful on you! I wish I was a ginger!
Aww, thank you so much for the compliment. I inherited my hair from my dad who had "fire engine red" hair as my grandma would word it 😆

Sounds like you have an inviting space! It can be tricky sharing it with all the office stuff. I am glad it’s a happy room you enjoy being in.
Lots of creative ideas, you are an inspiration. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Carol, that is kind of you to say.
Fantastic ! You are inspiring me…..thank you for your great ideas 👌🥰
You are welcome and I am so glad!
Great ideas for my small craft room 💕
Oh good, I’m so glad you picked up a few ideas for your room
Perfectly organized!
Thank you, it's been an evolving process over the past few years.
Thanks for sharing! I love how you really maximized your space. Enjoyed seeing you stamp categories. That’s where I’m struggling
Thank you, I am glad that part was helpful for you.
Thanks for all the great ideas! You really did make use of every last inch of your space! I'll definitely be incorporating some of your ideas into my own craft room!
You are very welcome, I’m glad you can use some of the ideas!
Thank you Janice. Start with one small pile and you will have it together in no time.
You have a beautiful craft room friend!!! Thanks for sharing your space with us!
Thank you, it is small but functional and definitely a favorite place to be!
Your room mat by smaller than some our sister crafters, but it is sooo well set up and I love the color and the look. ❤❤❤❤
Thank you, small but mighty right? I do like having everything in arms reach.
Such a beautiful and well organized room. Perfect
Thank you so much Sheila. I hope you saw some good ideas.
Erin, great job thank you for sharing how I can do my craft room. I also have a small craft room.
You are so welcome, I hope you found some helpful ideas!
This is a great craft space, I need to purge some things really bad but I am afraid I will want them after I do🤣. I love your “Happy Place”!
Purging is tough! I have to say the idea of parting with something is harder than it actually being gone. I have yet to miss something once it goes. I understand the struggle though!
What a great well organized space…I love the uniqueness of your space and I learned a few tricks that I can use in my own
Thank you and I am so glad you picked up a few helpful ideas.
Great ideas for using your stash, I definitely need a checklist!
There were plenty of retakes lol. I am glad you picked up some helpful ideas.
Wonderful! Love the idea of using those little candle jars, definite need to watch this again. I like the story of the repurpose of a lambing stall ❤
Haha, glad you appreciated the cards up there 😊
Erin, I love how organized you are..such an inspiration.
Thank you so much! It really helps me to be more creative when the room feels nice to be in.
Excellent organizational skills. I love it!
Thank you, I appreciate that!
Loved watching your tour! Lots of ideas for storage and I especially liked that your furry friends made it into your video 😊
Thank you! 😊 I always have a furry friend (or two) while crafting and I love it.

Recently moved and have to carve out a space for crafting- loved the use of your space 😊
Thank you Kathy, I hope you are able to carve out a crafty spot in your new place.
Thank you for sharing! Love the space!
Thank you so much!
WOW. Beautiful craft room. I can't wait to see what your create. New Sub, Barb.
Hello Barb, thank you for subscribing! I hope you find lots of inspiring ideas here on my channel. Are you a scrapbooker, card maker or both?

Great room!! I have a happy place also, not as pretty as yours but stuffed with fun creative goodies. And your hair is beautiful.
Thank you so much!! I’m sure those fun creative goodies help inspire you and that is what counts.
Love it! I too started with a small 3 drawer cart in my dining room! It didn’t take long to out grow that!
Haha, nope it doesn’t take long at all!
I love your space... it's about as big as mine! and we have a LOT of the same things so funny.... Great job with your organizations!
