    Looks like you have definitely reworked your room for your best possible use. Like your storage divisions to fit your
    spaces and yet be more accessible to where you are working. I think having your things handy makes your work
    more enjoyable. I think you have done a great job and I like your labeling. Thanks for sharing before and after❣️

    The Kallax unit that you’re afraid might get wet I’ve got 2 ideas. One, put the unit on wheels and set them to lock so you don’t have to worry about it rolling. It will sit up off the ground a good distance. Two, sit the unit on cinder blocks or bricks. You can wrap them in colorful fabric or whatever you like and make sure to attach the unit to the wall. It would leave you a bit of storage space for things you don’t care about getting wet. Just a thought. Thanks for sharing!

    I am so glad I stumbled over this video since I too have a really small space. 9 square meters that serves as a musicroom (piano, different string instruments, music sheets etc) office, "library" and scrap room. I am not a very tall person and now I need to make my room more accessible since I will need my wheelchair more and more. I will save your vid in my collections! Thanks!

    Yea! So glad to see you using other products. Sometimes Stampin' Up seems so confined. Yet, I have all their products. I have a hard time justifying buying another line of inks. I have some Catherine Pooler and a few Distressed. I would love to learn copic markers and be better at coloring. It is an investment too. Keep going where you're going. I Love it and can't wait to watch your videos and love story time.

    Wow!! Having to showcase your space certainly gave you the incentive that you needed to clean up the space & re-find all those things you didn't realise you had or things you had lost, it must have felt like Christmas finding some of your old treasures. I had to chuckle when I saw all the erasers. I own one & it sits on my table in front of me along with my pencil sharpener & is always on hand as I use pencils to write with as I am getting more dyslexic the older I get. I did lose my bone folder about 3 or 4 months ago & looked everywhere & so had to buy a new one & then my old one turned up, I hadn't lost it in the garbage bin after all but had put it in my drawer with all the rest of the things that go in there & couldn't see for looking - well it is a bit cluttered these days but I have no where else to keep them & the drawer unit seems to be shrinking on me!! 🤣

I have so much paper I've collected over the past 21 years as a maker and I have such a hard time parting with it :-). Also, can you tell me where you got the white bins you used on your shelves for items like your vinyl, adhesive, electronics, travel cases, etc.? I love how you have them on your shelves and nicely labeled! Great job!

    • @JulieCarriere_TheScrapZone
      @JulieCarriere_TheScrapZone  ปีที่แล้ว

      The purging was easy this time around. I do purge every year but this was a major one. First I always make a donation basket to one of my local charities. Second, a friends granddaughter is just starting out and she’s on a limited budget so I gave her most of my stuff. I did sell a few items but really it’s all about the mindset. I was ready to let go of things and she was so so happy. I know my older supplies went to a good home.

    Hi Julie, I love your organization. My big dilemma is organizing my space but then having to pack for a crop. What do you keep in that crop bag that is under your desk! It’s such a pain coming home and having to put everything away. I did manage to make a cardstock bin for crops with 4-5 pieces of each color…but not sure what to do for the rest of my supplies that I bring that I use all the time. Any suggestions?

      Tough question. I keep my extension cords, my travel lights, I got smaller blending brushes and a bag of cardstock colors.
      When I pack for crops I pack only the projects I’m working on. An easier one for the first night like cards or finishing a layout. If I have a bigger projects I keep that for Saturday and Sunday. There is no right or wrong way. I just try to keep it small and manageable 🤣
