It happens when you get money. Being a millionaire (having 1-5m) is literally nothing. They get obsessed and want to earn more and more, become a billionaire etc.
What I don't understand about many of these high profile crypto scammers (e.g. Jake Paul), is that in the grand scheme of things, $2.2 million is NOTHING to them. Seriously, they're probably earning $10-15 million a year. It's like if you're working a $50k per year job, and someone offers you $5k to risk your entire career, jail time, and reputation. Just goes to show how much they don't care about others and the brazen nature of their scamming abilities. They literally don't give a f**k if the FTC, SEC, IRS catches them either, like WTF...

Scammers know everytime they start a new shitcoin there will be people buying into it because they desperately want to be the new Doge holders. No one should get away with this kind of stuff no matter who that is no matter if it's a famous guy ( especially if it's someone famous and rich because he probably has a lot more money than us ), but that's not an excuse to scam people. Of course that didnt end up being the case but illegal activity wasnt the original intent of cryptocurrency.

The safemoon scam is even worse, because the price in that case is a bit deceiving. The token is programmed to 'burn' some of your tokens every time you want to transfer/trade them, so the supply decreases. All those who had that shitcoin and then tried to sell it also lost a % of their coins.
