This is one of my favorite of all time. The other is manyara, she saved her cubs when her pride was taken over but she ran with her cubs to save them! These two I will always remember!

I also remember father lion named Notch saving and raise his cubs all by himself due his brother died in a fight and he been defending pride territory alone but 4 male lions intruded that territory and he took all his 5 sons with him and left the pride

How do you know he was calling for his cubs, is there a particular Lion speak? He was just being a Lion and doing what Lions do and thats roar to sound dominant. The females are the hero's here. The dad came back when the action was over. If he was that maternal he wouldnt have snarled at the cubs and got up when they started climbing on him. He wouldve given the mother a break so she could recover from her battle wounds.

This was a very emotional experience and one of the 1st full videos that I decided to create and share with youtube. I do realize there are quite a few information that I could not film as I was worried myself. This was also the moment that made me decide I will go into filming wildlife rather than taking pictures :) This way I will be able to share more wildlife and lion prides with you as I go on the journey.

What a tear jerker 😢😢. So sad about the one mom & what a handful for the other. I always say….. it’s all about family ❤. 👵🏻👩🌾❣️
For some reason I'm sometimes surprised the cubs remember which lioness is their mother, then I remember cats act off smell. It seemed like the third cub belonged to the injured lioness and had a slightly lighter coat and was a bit younger than the first 2, but recognised it's mother was injured and went to his aunty and cousins.
Yes they will follow their moms :)
It's not even just smell it's instinct I can say that because being a Muslim woman the women who wear veils their children still know it's them and we don't have impeccable smell you just know your mom
I saw a doccie of 7 or 8 hidden cubs...a female stays after they found 6 while 3 females search and after 2 days they find them...tears to my eyes I tell you....so awesome

I dont want to appear nosey- for lack of better words. May I ask name of new video. Love the lions. I watch lion documentaries everyday- they fascinate me. Sometimes they appear so emotionally human like ( which is why the hurt by the little cub not really connecting with lionesses injuries. Other times in other scenarios cub may lay next to mom and look sad mom is hurt 😿. It could've been the little one came back scared and distracted). Oops got carried away again with the lions 😉.

The babies always go to the king 👑 no matter what. This is so sad. I luv watching these but they make me so sad a lot of time about what happens with lions. They was hiding scared 😢. The father did his job by roaring. He found his kids. God bless this family. I hope the one lioness is ok and recovered. She probably moved to recover without having them to jump on her wounds
Tears of joy. Exhaled in elation. Wish to hug & kiss everyone of them, particularly the cubs. Nature is too savage. The lion’s existence defines the duality of life & death. Please help to them if/when possible.

But on another note. They are all dead unfortunately. The 2 males died in December and shortly after the cubs with their mom disappeared and knowing the area. They were probably killed by other big males that took over the territory.

I was so worried for the Koppie females and cubs when I saw the 2Mbiri lionesses following Junior into the Koppie’s area. What an emotional experience to have gone through with them. So very happy all were accounted for and that this doesn’t happen again. Love Junior and Buddy. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing such a pivotal moment in your life and such an amazing moment for this pride. This is such an example of strong family bonds and how a family should never give up on shining a light for their young to always find a way home. I know it’s me putting human emotions on wild animals and I know there are many people out there that feel animals do not have the ability to feel emotions or at least emotions on such a complex level as humans but I think anyone who watched this can clearly see the various emotions going across all of their faces as they waited and waited for the final cubby to arrive back home. Even the little cubbies were calling out for the siblings non stop. This video was recommended by TH-cam so many times and I kept skipping over it bc i thought it was gonna show nomadic males killing cubs in a pride takeover. I’m so glad I finally watched it. Beautiful video and thanks again!

This video is amazing and the pure definition of hope, the hope that good things can happen in this shattered world we now live in. I have to say this was one of the most emotional videos I've watched as of yet. I cried and felt extreme happiness when I saw the next morning they all came back to the mothers. I watch these videos all the time, daily that is. Honestly if I could get there and had the money to do so I'd move there and work with the wild beautiful amazing animals of Africa today. You all have a great day and thanks for that viewing pleasure. You do very well at your job it is obvious your pure passion for these animals. Is this pride still in tact? How many total are in this pride and what is the name of the pride, please? The lionesses are truly great moms.

The paler ones might be from a different coalition father than the darker ones. I guess these cubs will have a rather perilous upbringing now that Junior and Buddy cannot seem to settle down with one pride. Maybe since Buddy is sick, when Junior is alone soon, he'll act less restless....
