- Incredible wildlife sighting as we find all 7 Lion cubs survived the attack. They are now playing around with Mom and Dad, Also they are fighting among each other to have milk as the other lioness is keeping her distance as she recovers from the attack.

Awful news comes from Manyeleti. The Mbiri pride has apparently killed one of the 2 remaining Koppies females and 2 of their 7 cubs.
Their pride male, Junior Nkuhuma was eating her body... terrible news.. the guide is 95% sure the lioness is one of the 2 Koppies, he doesn't know if its the older or the younger female but the rangers from Ngala told him that another lioness was seen running away from the spot with 5 cubs.
Terrible news considering that the Koppies pride only has 1 younger lioness to keep the legacy alive. I am highly disappointed with the Orpen male as he didn't mind to protect his 2 lionesses nor his 7 cubs.
Let's pray for the remaining Koppies female and that she is the younger one and not the older female

Update on the 7 lions cubs that survived the attack. The other lioness is also safe and well. She was found a few days later in a drainage line where she was fully recovered and back with the pride. 7 cubs were playing and feeding on the 1 lioness for a few days and buddy and Junior were both seen with them :)

You're exagerating, that lioness just looks lean, probably from feeding those cubs and not eating a lot herself. I didn't see any ribs showing.

Are there 2 dominant males there? How many females are in this pride. I'm pretty sure all 7 cubs don't belong to this 1 lioness. She is so beautiful and patient with them. Hope they will get a good meal soon. Dad is patient and seems to be a good father. Handsome too.❤💪💪💪🦁🥰😍🥰💝
Hi Denise! There are only 2 females in this pride if I understood correctly. Also I think it's 4 cubs belong to the one lioness and 3 to the other lioness. In this video you will only see one lioness because the other one is in the drainage line recovering from wounds from protecting the cubs a few days before from the Mribi pride that attacked them.

One does not interfere with nature. It’s folks like you thinking they know best that harms the animal kingdom in the long run. You feed a lion, they never forget and come looking for food again. Eventually that lion has to be put down...

The story has a happy ending and that is always a good thing - in any story. I don't mean to be a "spoiler" here, I just hope it wasn't all prearranged by the story teller because it it hard to imagine that so many cubs would survive out there when even big animals are not safe. If the cubs were that close, even their mother would smell them and go get them. Because lions can smell for a long distance. Anyway, it was just a thought and hopefully I am wrong. Thank you for the nice story anyway.

I’d like to invite you to follow us on Instagram as @everseensa then you will get to know us a lot better and you will know that we won’t pre arrange an animal sighting. As good as lions can smell they have learned to also lead you onto falls trails. That’s how lions also protect themselves as small cubs. Also the Mribi females were probably chased off by the male which could put themselves in danger hanging around trying to smell out the cubs. In the video you will see we went back the next morning to search the last one and there the 7th cub was. I would’ve filmed it also if the 7th cub was not there and dead because we like to tell the story as it happened. It’s not always easy but we do our best❤️

From my understanding, there were only 2 lionesses and we found both of them. There are a serious of 2 videos. 4 cubs to one lioness and 3 cubs are the other lionesses cubs.

Hi there Grace, Sadly about a week ago 2 of the cubs died as well as 1 of the females. They got attacked again and this time they were not so lucky.
So happy to know that they all survived. Mums need to make a kill & soon, I can't help but notice how thin they are. Cubbies need their milk as well as needing to start eating meat. I hope they all do well. ❤❤❤

They should put those cubs and lion in a protected sanctuary. They'll just be poached eventually. Nothing is safe out in that area there's too many poachers killing for just a stupid rug or trophy.

This is the Nkuhuma male from before Nana' son, he was born in 2012 to the Nkuhuma pride and is littermate with the one-eyed Nkuhuma lioness.

Cubs were older that was why they needed more milk. I wonder why mom did not let one of the cubs to suckle? She chased it away.
Probably because they are not all hers.
I believe they are 2 moms, 4 cubs for the one lioness and 3 cubs for the other one but Lions are amazing at feeding each others cubs and looking after all of them. Sometimes 1 just get left out a little bit. Later she did feed him :)

Survived what attack?
In the previous video you will see people are commenting there about the attack, It was an attack from the Tintswalo females on the koppies pride in Manyeleti. I don't know the lions that well to know who it was exactly hehe - still learning all of them
