Who is your favorite mage and why?

It's hard to decide I like most of the main characters for both similar and differing reasons, but I'd probably have to go with Shirou/ Emiya Archer/Alter because I like their UBW abilities.

There several cardinal rules of magic, one should remember,
1.Magic is powerful
2.Magic is dangerous
3.Magic is corruptive
4.Magic is addictive
5.Magic can draw attention from beings of "the other realms"
Necromancy is not a skill but lifestyle, the Dark Arts is pathway to many powers some would call "un natural"

Kairi Sisigo is the most infamous necromancer. And yet, he feels more human than most magi.
So necromancers in fate are vultures. If so Shishigou is a badass one
I loved how shishou used his Magic to fight and It was so sad to see him go in apoc but great to see him in El mellioi having the clocktower cast all work together.
Fgo his ce is very funny to see how it works.
actualy kairi is actually a lot more similar to kiritsugu than what is said
while most masters hide both kirirtsugu and kairi take a more direct aproach.
both use modern weapons and use magecraft to augment themselves. in that shiro,kirtsugu and kairi have similarly done this but much more diferent
shiro with his projection magic and his archer selfs noble phantasm
kiritsugus time alter letting him slow and speed time
and kairis use of undead to augment his weapons and other things
also kiritsugu would be op as hell as a archer servant

But that's shirou being shirou and he does a lot of dumb stuff or directly does it on purpose.
Also he is litteraly seeing servants who already died and Hercules who can't die once. Also he died if not for Rin.
They can also come back to life or they were never dead to begin with.
In my dnd campaign I play as a offshoot of necromancer called a soul walker. Spoiler the goto of it is souls specifically

Hey Dai, had a thought about where the series may go next.
How about going over the various servant classes/types, their origins, exceptions, and general rules. (Like why the Archer class doesn't need to use bows or a servant may be able to be summoned in multiple classes, or how a servant's myth [Charlamagne] or perception [Da Vinci] affect their summoning). Then there's Grand classes and exceptions to the class system. Plus you could mention stuff like servant statistics and skills and how certain grades of noble phantasm or skill may be ignored by certain servant skills (particular aspect is divinity from Babylonia).
Just wanted to throw the idea out there in case you needed more topics. If you already covered all the stuff I mentioned, I must have missed it and it got buried somewhere :P
I'll keep it in mind but the stats are my least favorite part. I thrive on storytelling.
Does Sung Jin-Woo from solo leveling count as a Nercomancer? His shadow monarch job does act similar to a necromancer's except it uses the shadows of dead enemies rather then their bodies.

Would Naruto series' Summoning: Impure World Reincarnation count as necromancy cause the shinobi that are performing it are gathering the dna of the person he or she wishes to bring back with a alive person as the sacrifice? Also, chakra and mana are technically the same thing.

Out of curiosity, If the Summoning: Impure world reincarnation technique from Naruto was in the fate series, what impact would it have in the world of magecraft?
I know very little about Naruto.
@@otakudaikun It's an S rank KInjutsu that allows you to bring someone back from the dead.
the one you're reviving has to be in the afterlife for this to work.
to use this technique you need DNA from the one you seek to revive, ether a drop of blood or salvaged organs will work. you also need a sacrifice, as without a body the soul won't be able to do much.
ones you have reanimated someone using this technique will have unlimited chakra and is practically immortal. they also keep whatever power that they had at the time of death such as ocular power in the case of Nagato, and will be cured of whatever disease they had when they were alive. though of they had special weapons your gonna have to find that yourself. the only way to beat a reanemant is to use something like the truth seeking balls that can negate ninjutsu or to seal them away.
you have total control over a reanimated individual and can decide weather to keep their emotions intact or not, though reanimants are still susceptible to illusions
and can be turned on you.
the flaws of this technique depends on witch point in naruto were talking about. in the case of it's initial creation, there's a sizable reduction in power and the amount of reanimants that can be controlled is limited. in the case of kabuto in the fourth great ninja war, he doesn't have a limit on how many reanemants he can control and the power reduction is not as bad.

I have a question is shirou a heroic spirit ik he has a archer variant but like i remember i thin u said servants can be summoned at any point in their life so just regular him is he a heroic spirit and Rin is she one
There's a timeline where Shirou grows up to be a hero and makes a deal with the planet to continue protecting humanity as a heroic spirit. That's what Archer Emiya is. As for Rin, she herself is never a hero, but her body does become a vessel for two Babylonian goddesses.
